“If you want I guess” is a amazing classification and tier of fire emblem classes, and should be applied to every game

Sniper class is a goated class from the start for the simple fact that hunter's volley is locked to it.
Shamir's perfect class, keeps her drip, and has a high strength and low speed to make use of the broken 2-4 rng brave skill.

fun fact about bishop! it has equal growths to warlock in all stats, but beats it out in luck and charm!

Ngl, I skipped to the end, then you called me out and I went back and listened back through the whole thing.

13:01 As soon as you get Fiendish Blow your tummy rumbles.

Never would have thought I’d see the day FED say anything good about poison strike

A point about Great Knight. It doesn't even give you Riding XP when you're in the class, only Heavy Armor. So not only is it the steepest certification requirement in the game, it doesn't even train one of its main attributes when you're in it. The requirements should've been Axe A, Lance C, and Armor OR Riding B+, and train both once in the class. At least then it'd be slightly less abysmal.

There's a couple of chapters where enemies are just randomly carrying stat-boosters that they don't drop. That one Almyran invasion paralogue, for example, has 3 enemies that carry a Seraph Robe, Goddess Icon, and one other one that I can't remember. I'm not saying Steal is fantastic or anything, but free stats are free stats.

This is awesome. I finally decided to buy and play 3 houses last week after playing every FE game previously. Revelation turned me off of FE but 3H has been a breath of fresh air.

I think you’re undervaluing hit +20. It also applies to gambits which are consistently unreliable and usually a crucial part of survival on maddening. The list is really solid overall though

It would be hilarious to see justifications for class placement on the tier list that's on the thumbnail

I'm here to yell. But i dont know what to yell because this is my first palythrough.

I'd put Lord into 'If you want I guess'. I think it has a niche with being a class that can help increase authority points early on, which I've found to be useful when doing Battalion Vantage/Wrath Dimitri. I'm able to get him to A-rank authority by Chapter 8/9 a lot of the time. On top of that, like you said, having Charm as a class ability at that point in the game can come in useful. On the off-chance that you're doubling (quading if using gauntlets) that's an extra 6-12 damage. Negligible later, but in the early-mid game, that extra damage can decide if you're killing the enemy unit or not. I understand the choice to say it's pointless, but I've gotten decent use out of it.

imagine if edelgard's emperor class was able to use magic like it clearly should be able to

If Great Knight required either axes or lances instead of just specifically axes it'd actually be really nice for swift strikes units. The one time I did Great Knight Silvain it was super useful because he was able to tank on enemy phase and then turn around and use swift strikes with lancefaire on player phase. Only issue was that because of how long it took to certify him into the class I only had him as a Great Knight for the last two chapters of the game (this was on CF)

22:39 my favorite memory of using sniper byleth is beating the chapter where Jeritza kidnaps flaynn on maddening in 2 turns by buffing with annette and ferdinand and hitting from the beggining of the map with a group of A rank support partners to buff hit rates.

I just started playing Three Houses, for the first time ever; it is my first FE game. Thank you for the helpful content!

I was really disappointed with trickster's 5 movement personally

While I think the evaluation criteria you chose places too great importance on endgame utility and therefore fails to reward classes for what they can do outside of providing masteries, etc. I think you perfectly placed the classes based off of your criteria and I really liked listening to your evaluations and your playstyle.

mastered dark mage for the impregnable wall cheese, 5 turns of wall = 35 damage to anything touching the bait (usually Ignatz because I hate him)
