What I love about these almost abandoned towns are that the trees are full and beautiful and the birds are happily singing. They don't care. Happy birdies. 🙂
These towns are actually doing better these days as Ag stays strong and Sioux Falls keeps growing. I grew up here amongst these towns, and returned to raise a family here. It is a wonderful place to live. My folks both graduated from Jasper HS in 1946.
My mother was born in Jasper, Minnesota in 1929, attended school in a one-room schoolhouse through 8th grade, went to high school in nearby Pipestone. She grew up on a farm that was settled in 1891. My cousin still runs the farm.
Thanks Joe & Nic. When I was a kid I woke up on Saturday mornings to watch my favorite cartoons. Now, as an adult I wake up Saturday mornings anticipating videos from watching your channel. My Saturday mornings don't start until after I've traveled with you two. Thanks for the ride-along ❤
Morn'n folks. I absolutely luv Sat mornings with Joe & Nicole. So peaceful & enlightening, thank you for creating your channel. 🥰 $115,000 for 102 Buckingham St. home. Happy wkend all.
Oh my goodness that house at 1:40 wins the award for craziest, out-of-control additions I’ve seen Joe drive by! I’d love to see the inside and meet the person that paid to have that work done. Guaranteed to be fascinating.
My dad was born in the Hardwick train depot where my grandpa was the station agent for the Rock Island Lines. Spent many wonderful days in that great little town. Green Lantern has always been the spot.
Can't imagine the amount of stairs in the that house in Hardwick.. That abandon building in Jasper was a old lumber yard. Used to work at one just like that in Lincoln NE.
