On October 4, 2026, I walked from Sengakuji Station on the Keikyu Line to Shinagawa Station, Yatsuyama, and Kita-Shinagawa Station, filming the current state of the ongoing grade separation project.

This video also includes footage of the Kita-Shinagawa and Shinagawa station areas filmed in July 2023.

In 2023, I documented the upper and lower platforms, station building, level crossings, pedestrian overpasses at Kita-Shinagawa Station, and the platforms, ticket gates, and free passageways at Shinagawa Station.

Approximately three years have passed since then.

In 2026, construction has progressed around Shinagawa Station, and in Yatsuyama, construction of the new Yatsuyama Overpass is underway near the bridge that has been in use since 1933.

Changes were also observed around Kita-Shinagawa Station, including the station, level crossings, and buildings and streetscapes along the railway tracks.

While this is not a perfect time-lapse comparison filmed from the same location, it compares the footage from 2023 and 2026 as records of the actual locations filmed at each point in time.
