Oh those were the days....
Forty years ago now....
Listening to those five cylinder Quatros still gets the adrenaline flowing.
The Greatest days of Rallying.
What did we do to the best of Motorsport?😪

Pure GOLD! And Henri Toivenin’s Opel is such a beautiful car❤️❤️❤️❤️ Group B! This was the peak of Motorsports in my opinion, this era. Every genre was at its peak, F1, Rally, Roadracing, endurance, Motocross.

Golden age of rallying indeed..

Was on that rally servicing for car 76  when it  kicked off in Bath.there a plethora of road going  Opel Manta  400s on show at Rally HQ.

Hannu was such a Gentleman.
It was extremely rare to see him lose his cool unlike most other drivers who suffered misfortune and would often come across as quite mardy.

This was the first RAC rally to feature the legendary Group B rally cars.

4:18-5:21 best rally footage/editing. such good memories ( I would have only been one )

Thank you for showing

That was brilliant   thanks 🎉❤

In fact they took the soul out of every rally in the WRC that remains from the old days 😢

I had a 79 T imported Opel Manta from Holland in 1989, 2L fuel injection 134mph not a penny more 😅

Excellent video!!! The RAC Was the world's greatest rally until the FIA ruined the rally in the late 1990's....

so bjorn waldegard is basically vatenan and alen mixed together. I figured it out.

Nice to see Russell Brooke’s pushing his chevette around and terry kaby Russell brookes a fantastic 5 place sadley terry kaby dnf accident the last rally ever for chevettes next year would see more Opel Mantas

3:00 John Buffum!

MANTA 400!!!!!!!!

Supertrix101, no sir,you are wrong. The Safari rally in Kenya was and still is the world's greatest rally. Pity the FIA ruined the iconic event.
