Fenerbahçe President Aziz Yıldırım criticized the previous board members at the financial general assembly. Yıldırım addressed unpaid installments for player transfers and stated that he would not approve the previous administration's actions due to their failure to properly manage the club's assets. The Fenerbahçe Sports Club Ordinary Financial General Assembly Meeting is being held at the Ülker Sports and Events Hall. After the activity and audit reports were read and discussed, Fenerbahçe President Aziz Yıldırım took the podium. Starting his speech by stating that Fenerbahçe's rights should be discussed here, Yıldırım said, "We will begin the most important financial congress in Fenerbahçe's history. Everyone will know everything. We will learn here, not from the media. What did I say? 'I will leave after 1 year.' I don't want to deal with these things. Because I believe I did the right thing, I am not afraid of acquittal, court, or anything. I have no hesitation; I will leave after making them champions in 1 year. I will make them champions. We said we would participate in Europe. After 18 years, my friends, the football team, the coach, Oğuz Çetin, achieved this. What did they say? 'This team is insufficient.' It was sufficient. Now let's talk about the truth. We are a family. Let's come to Mr. Sadettin and his administration; you have squandered the money. Ali Koç bought En-Nesyri for 19 million euros. And 6 million of his transfer fee has not been paid. The installment is due in April, and you haven't paid it. A letter comes from UEFA on June 15th. My colleagues brought it, we need to pay this." "We are paying. I will explain everything about how much money came into the club. If you don't pay, you get a penalty. I paid the first one, and we signed and sent the second one. As the management, we are paying 6 million euros. You tell us where you spent this money. We sold Sidiki Cherif. I thank Hasan Çetinkaya, Cihan Kamer, and Oğuz Çetin. There is an attempt to seize Fenerbahçe's assets. No one can seize them where we are. We respect those who do good for Fenerbahçe. But you, as the management, are guilty. Therefore, I will not exonerate you. I will not do it in the joint-stock company either. You should defend Fenerbahçe's rights. Come here and say this is wrong, let's correct it together. Fenerbahçe's assets have been lost, Fenerbahçe is not the owner of the assets. Why did you extend it for 10 years to get 400,000 euros? I thank you all. Fenerbahçe has a lot of money, there are currently 77 million euros in the treasury, just so you know."
At the end of his speech, Aziz Yıldırım invited former board member İlker Alkun to the stage and asked him to provide information.
