Everything is Going WRONG in my Koi Pond 🤬

The Koi Perspective Magazine

In this chaotic vlog, I attempt to install my air source heat pump from Andi ‪@Buildahottub‬ & the pipework to bypass it, one of my koi dies, randomly and out of the blue, and I head over to visit my good friend Allan from ‪@ezpondltd‬

Forgive the crazy nature of this vlog, I hope you enjoy

Big thanks to ‪@cwdpond‬ for getting me those fittings ASAP!

It's always the last fitting that you need to purchase and delay the project 😂😂🍻🍻

Had a similar few days including the loss of a fish although my fault went away and had switched the air off to my Nexus 320 for a week with my main filter out as being replaced by a combi drum

Added a heat pump with inverter about 6 months ago. It is awesome and I live in Seattle. If the directions were similar for yours, it seems it might be mounted too close to the wall...if underperforming.

Always gutting losing one, especially when it’s out of the blue with no obvious reason!

Heart attack most likely I’ve seen this scenario a few times . The swelling of the vent and stomach is most likely water due to heart attack and organ failure not allowing osmotic regulation

Joe, love the content and your delivery to this hobby. I've got to ask is there a reason you set the upper T junction on the return for the ASHP to go up and not straight to the sweeping bend? I don't want to be over critical but it shows your channel is open for opinion and debate and that's a credit to you. It's interesting seeing all the recent content around bakki showers and the potential to harbour parasites.👍👍👌👌

5:46 You can see that the eyes are sunken. Can we see the shape and colour, condition of the gills?

I totally understand you from dead fish. Is very annoying. 🫣 I know someone who can get 10 x rare pythons that they are little offered. So all 10 are perfectly healthy. After 1 year 1 x have something unknown virus . Unfortunately, all 10 x live after weeks no more! 😕. He must have lost more than 25K! Such an expensive hobby. 🫣
