🍂 Autumn is arriving at the koi pond, but there’s still plenty to do! 🐟

As we move out of summer and into autumn, the weather may still be mild, but this is an important time to get around the pond, tackle those essential jobs, and reflect on what has been a busy and eventful year.

In this video, I’m working around the pond, trimming back the plants and getting things tidied up, while looking back at some of the changes, lessons and experiences that have helped improve my pond and the health of my koi.

For me, keeping koi is about much more than simply feeding the fish and enjoying the view. It’s about continually learning, making improvements and creating the best possible environment for them to thrive.

Joining a koi club has been a particularly valuable experience, offering the opportunity to learn from others, share ideas and gain a fresh perspective on koi keeping.

Even though summer is behind us, there’s no shortage of jobs to do. A little time spent maintaining the pond now can help keep everything running smoothly as the seasons change.
