It would have been cool if you showed with and without to see the impact this fixture makes while shooting outside but thanks for the info...

@ruffprophetproductions 7 years ago

for that first outside shot i would've loved to have seen a natural light shot to compare it against. just to show the difference. thanks Taylor

Broooooo! You completely changed my perspective on OCF!! I thought I always needed a soft box, but apparently not! Thank you Taylor!

Great video. I've been using AD 200 Pro's since 2017 in my high volume school photography business here in Western Australia. From outdoor portraits to lighting up a white vinyl background, they handled the job perfectly without any heating issues whatsoever. It's always good to have a second battery charged to quickly swap over after about 500 shots on 1/8th output! We've had them for about 5 years now and from a school photographer's perspective, they just keep on going - even after they've been dropped onto a hard floor with a few cracks and bits of plastic missing from their housing!

You work alot like me, i come from an editorial background which just requires you to work quickly and 'what ever works'. Cheers

I have to thank you. I have the Adc200 pro and always used the reflector. I will try your way. thanks.

Hey! I don’t live too far from you and I’d assist you to hold light stands if you ever needed! Lol

@texasmarshalls 5 years ago

Taylor, do you have a tutorial for Godox V1 Xpro with Nikon?

@RichBarschdorf 1 year ago

You know you can use the Godox AD-S2 Standard Reflector Diffuser on the ad200s and it works great.

@jtbatista 4 years ago

I love the fact that this system simplifies many tools into one.

I'm really the minimalist as I am growing into photography, and I easily don't see myself carrying massive lighting sets to end a job.

I really want cost effective but at small portions type of lighting tools. I wouldn't mind having an umbrella or diffuser here and there?

But this is super. I just ordered it to work on with my G9.

Wow ! I wanted AD200 but hated load of soft boxes. Thanks Taylor I am going to buy a AD200 now.

@shelbyatwan8495 7 years ago

You are a billion times more helpful than any college photography course! Thanks for the amazing content!

@sidersproductions941 5 years ago

I just got this flash kit and I’m loving it. I didn’t realize how much less direct flash you get using the bare bulb attachment though. It’s very soft with no diffusers attached. The regular flash head is very nice.

@dannyklesh 6 years ago

Taylor you need to get the round head attachment for the ad200 and then throw the AKR1 accessory dome on it

@tinctanc 6 years ago

Thanks for this. Most OCF videos now are exaggerating the effects of it. Your kept it real.

@philfreemedia 2 years ago

This was a phenomenal video!

I’ve been doing weddings for 17 years and I think you are my spiritual twin lol

Hey Taylor. Just subscribed. I’m using Godox lights and love their versatility especially when using all the different modifiers put out by Godox. By the way, your model Clarissa is beyond gorgeous.
