How about you explain where you get brand new unworn Rolex watches. That would be nice to know who is taking the allocations that Im sitting waiting around for and flipping them to you so you can inflate the market on them.

Great insights. But I have a slightly different take on CPO - it’s geared for people who really, really can’t afford to take a loss on a watch, arent going to get bored and resell in a few years and thus are willing to pay an even steeper premium. They (probably incorrectly) still don’t trust established grey dealers, fear getting a Frankenwatch or complete fake. They pay a few thousand extra so they can sleep at night.

And 💯 on staying away from Patek - that’s a lot of capital to tie up. Any negative news could send world economies down and thus higher end watch prices.

I bought a watch through the CPO from a London AD. It was at an inflated price but the condition was as new with it also being serviced and a warranty provided. I had peace of mind. Looking at other second hand dealers the watches weren't in as good condition and they seemed to be more pushy salespeople.

While the AD waitlist games and flippers are off putting I still had a great experience and have a treasured memory from the holiday. I plan on keeping the watch and passing it down.

On CPO I've seen some fairly good prices from the more independent AD's and incredibly high prices from WOS brands and a few others. Rolex don't dictate the mark up, WOS are using this instead of the buy these other makes of watch to get a Rolex. Also in the US the 1916 company are allowed to service the watches they don't go to a Rolex service centre. Not sure if that's also true in the UK. Regarding production Swiss industry business magazines predicted a drop in Rolex production as they move into their new 2029 factory, key staff are being used to train new staff and some of the machinery is being used for training, or being made obsolete as they transition into the new Underdesk train system.

Hi Charlie I bought a watch from thw cpo! It came with original swing tags and card plus the new ones indicating it has a 2 year warranty from rolex

Thanks for these updates. Will you ever come by the NY flagship Rolex store when it opens late 2026 or early 2027. I heard it’s 4x the Dubai one. Being so large I would imagine they have everyone one for display.
