neat :D and it's pronounced "quick lunch" xD and you have guys named Bernard and Morten in the us, the TSA lady's dad had the same name as me, last time i was in the USA

Drone warfare is the scariest crap I have ever seen. I couldn't imagine the horror of being chased around a tree by a granade

We were certifying/training people with very similar ammo as this in the USAF as early as 2018/19. It was called SKYNET…no joke.

It's a bola shotgun shell; amazing.

"Quick Lunch " when saying the name of that candy bar would sound closer and is what it means.

Around 10:00, you say the string's only purpose is to keep the shot from spreading too far, but I think it's for getting tangled in drone rotors.

TFM ….(poor man’s) international ammunitions research and testing channel.  Now that’s a resume builder 😎

The string takes the drone down ,the lead just takes the string to the target

Definitely a cool round. I'm curious how much more effective it is vs just using bird shot against a drone.

A Semi-Automatic Shotgun, with 5 shots, would be very effective.

Yeah, that stuka sound and the Wilhelm scream, 2 very cool movie sounds.

Basically, this is a miniaturized version of the catch net used against Arnold Schwarzeneggers character Ben Richards in the movie "The Running Man" when they used it to capture him at the airport. The segments are not meant to stop the target. They're purpose is to spread the net. The net / strings are the stopper against drones by tangling the props. If one or more segments strike the drone that's a plus.

21:30 - that's the Wilhelm scream of aircraft crashes.

Next week Scott will have those rounds in 10ga, 4 bore, 2 bore and for his punt gun . . .

Thanks for this demonstration!

Congratulations Jeff now you know what a huge influence you have around the world!

I made something similar, several years ago, using split shot and steel leader wire.  One split shot on each end of 4 wires, and nylon kite string tying all the middles together.  Packed them with the leaders twisted into the middle.
The small cable would cut through cardboard, and had a really nice 40 yard shot that had a very nearly circular pattern with radial cuts.

The thread fouls the props. Quads/Sext/Octo copters use asymmetric prop speeds to change direction. On a quad, one fouled prop means it drops out of the sky. On 6 and 8 prop FPV drones you need to foul two and three props respectively. (For the pedantic among you: if you take out every other prop on 6 or 8 and the software can handle it, they can stay up.) Or blast the thing apart. That works, too.

LOL. There's some weed growers in NorCal watching this video and thinking, "Oh yeah, these will take care of those pesky drones flying over my garden."

I'm sure that chocolate is good too!

my mind goes to the mast breaking chained cannon ball rounds from old naval warfare.
