LeBron James scored 25 straight playoff points against the Pistons in 2007… and somehow, that legendary night may have changed his career for the worse. Because after LeBron proved he could carry a franchise alone, the NBA stopped treating him like a 22-year-old superstar… They treated him like a player who had no excuse left.

You know you’re the goat when your haters are still expecting you to carry a team to the finals at 41

This is the game that solidified his hype

if Lebron was fortunate like Magic or Duncan to have franchise stability and great front office work for a majority of his career, he wouldve legit won 7+ rings

The version of Bron I grew up watching. I missed this guy!

I’d say his son going into cardiac arrest was worse for him

Bron should have 6-7 mvps realistically & atleast 2 DPOY awards.

lebron is held to higher standards than any other player in history. just imagine if he had a competent front office in cleveland

You can’t deny the influence of Jimmy Highroller on every basketball content channel

This is why lebron is the most under appreciated athlete of all time. People will truly miss him when he retires

I miss this version of Lebron. It's been years since he's had a playoff game where he looked unstoppable and wills a win out nearly by himself.

I feel so lucky, so at this time I was like a couple years out of high school and figuring my life out so I wasn’t following sports as much tho I knew about LeBron. One day randomly I was at home and my mom was sleep so I watched tv alone and this game was on. I said to myself, huh I never watched him yet lemmie see what he on. I didn’t really clock that it was the playoffs or nothing I just watched… this shit was the craziest shit I ever witnessed myself on the court and I was like damn man that game was amazing but I didn’t realize it would be recognized like this, I just saw it as that game I saw that one time where LeBron went crazy.lol now I feel lucky I happened to witness it live and I pretty much missed all of basketball during that time. Now I’m hearing that performance get talked about and that’s dope.

When Bron left the Cavs for Miami, many people saw him as a villain but not me. Bron would always be a hero to me. I'm never gonna watch NBA games when he retires.
