I'm glad that the mod is still alive and that content is being made about it.

I had a friend who was a fan of the mod, and the name of the meme itself became a meme in our circle of friends. He was a bit strange, but he was a very good person. When I needed him, he hired me into his business. But he died from COVID. Now, when I see this mod, I feel sad, but I'm glad that the mod and the content about it are still alive. Thank you.

Didn't understand why the U.S joined so soon...but hey, "The more pain while playing HOI4 BLACK ICE, the better." as they say.

We all believed in you, our dearest Generalissimo!

I find the issue is the air production of the allies is out of control and you need 70 factories producing fighters to win the Battle of Britain against 3000 enemy fighters holding the air over the channel

So happy you finally won! I personally only play BICE when I hop on HOI4 so I feel your pain. Not that there’s any point in it, but I like to continue my victorious runs by doing the plan Z focus and building up my navy to eventually invade North America. Naval Germany can be super OP if you have good ship designs and you don’t actually need many good ships to take on the US navy! Keep in mind that if you do take too long Australia might become a major in the Allies but honestly it’s fun to completely win over the Allies eventually

I can still vividly remember my sigh of relief after capitulating the USSR after a 6 hour 2/3-speed grind in the end of 1943.
It. was. hell.

BICE is what Hoi5 should be closer to

I'd say lets do a video of Gary Grisby's War in the Pacific Admirals Edition, but it takes 20 hours just to set up Dec 7th 1941, and an hour per day/turn. I'm so addicted to it though that I haven't played BICE in a year.

People bitching about it being impossible to win as Germany fail to understand the kind of feats and miracles they did pull off during WW2. Way overpowered on basic game.

In addition to the drole de guerre debuff for France, Germany gets Sitzkrieg. You need to conduct wargames, training one of your generals. It requires command points, and I believe if you conduct it 5 or 6 times, you get a bonus for all of your generals. It’s either +1 logistics to everyone, or you can roll the dice and everyone gets trait (urban combat leader, panzer leader, and a few other options).
By the time you complete sitzkrieg and get the bonuses, France is at max debuff… so playing that portion on a somewhat historical timeline is actually quite beneficial
