I'm kinda surprised Phoenix didn't say "So you're accusing me of NOT using forged evidence?"

Okay, maybe not too surprised, he would want to clear his name of even considering using forged evidence, but really, Klavier has nothing on him. "Oh you commissioned someone to forge evidence." is not technically itself a crime because until it's attempted to be used, it isn't considered evidence.

Phoenix Wright: I do indeed have something like that in my possession, but due to its dubious nature I have chosen to NOT submit it as evidence. If you want to examine it, be my guest, but let the record show that I did not submit it.

Honestly, this feels way more in character for Phoenix to do. He's not an idiot. He should have questioned the page Trucy gave him and even asked Zak Garmarye about it instead of just blindly assuming it was indeed the real missing page from the diary

The more I think about it, how Phoenix getting disbarred feels painfully forced. The only way I could buy him accidently submitting forged evidence is if Kristoph planted it, and I mean literally within his stash of evidence before the trial.  That way, Phoenix could assume he got it himself and didn't remember where or how.

Sure, that would have been harder to do, but it makes a lot more sense and is much more believable than Phoenix submitting a dubious piece of evidence at best no questions asked.

Kevlar: "Do you have something you would like to present, Mr. Wright? "
Wright: " * reads Evidence Law book from Rise from the Ashes * uuuhh nope. can't. "
Kristoph: " * bangs on TV screen displaying the trial in real time * DAMNIT! "

I genuinely feel like something like this should've happened. Wright presenting that evidence made no real sense to me. Wright obviously had to be dumbed down for this to even work in the first place.

Turnabout Succession but everyone hates Klavier:

Phoenix: “He’s acting very strange all of the sudden.”

Klavier trying to bait Phoenix into presenting the shady evidence he was given.

Poor Klavier. Once everything began to crumble, he had no way to stop the dominoes from falling.
Him being a mess is pretty realistic - first trial with a set goal in his mind and everything just backfires.

I’m genuinely hoping that there is a sequel to this where Phoenix defends Klavier and actually discovers what Kristoph has done. Klavier was done dirty by his own blood and I’m sure Phoenix would go out of his way to help Klavier, maybe even use the magatama to confirm and take up Klavier’s case once he figures out that he wasn’t behind the forgery.

The black psychelocks activating while Kristoph is glazing Phoenix is great, it makes a lot more sense than in the actual game. He hates him SO much for being 'better' than him in a lot of people's eyes and I bet he's seething even more at Phoenix evading his trap.

I would assume Kristoph would receive some sort of backlash or penalization from this. After all, he admited he knew of his brother's scheme and contributed to it to some degree. At least, it would put his integrity as a defense attorney into question.

Man, poor Klavier! It's his first trial and everything he's planned falls apart with no hope of slowing down, while those he trusts follow suit and turn against him- including his own brother- and it all leaves him emotionally broken by the end.

Once Phoenix manages to deflect the remaining accusations onto him, which makes sense since Klavier is such a clear suspect at the time, he's reduced to a sobbing wreck that has everything taken away in mere moments - and not even his own family (who he trusts immensely and even pleads for help from) wants to bother trying to save him from his fate.

Curse you for making me want to give this fictional character a hug! A curse upon you!!

Phoenix realizes that something is wrong with this case, so in an attempt to find out the truth, he visits Clavier in the detention center, where he listens to his version of events. After investigation ofа incident of it, Wright comes to the conclusion that it was not Clavier who forged the evidence, but Christopher, after which he becomes Clavier's defense attorney. During the trial, the truth about the forgery is revealed, and Christopher begins to rage and is escorted out of the courtroom by the bailiff. During the verdict, Clavier breaks down in the same way as when he was accused of falsifying evidence, only this time he has tears of happiness. After the trial, the devastated prosecutor can only hug Wright and thank him for clearing his name. A few days after the trial, Wright receives a ticket to a Gavinners concert. This is how a long and strong friendship begins between an attorney and a prosecutor. True Ending.

At least the "forger" actually has musical talent this time around.

AMAZING Video, truly. I squealed with joy when I realised it'd extend past JUST the trial. And Kristoph coaching Drew to backstab Kristoph and THEN going "Klavier had asked me to give the note to the defendant's daughter" instead of struggling between "Question the little girl", "No actually don't do it!", "My bro did it" makes a lot more sense. Also like the detail of the actual DS crosshair being used for the diary scene, instead of the red marking thing-

Outstanding remake! You managed to purely use every DS asset accurately to the real game while also adapting a new scenario that turns the tables in an unexpected way! Way to go!

I can see Phoenix looking more into this from it 'Not feeling right' to him like he has done before, and then clearing Klav's name as he finds out the truth. He could possibly use the Magatama to ask Klav if he really planned on setting him up.

Setting up his own brother is so Kristoph-ish. Pretty sure he would have done that had Klavier guessed the plot before it aired in canon.

Whatever path this story takes, it will become very much different from that point, in many large aspects. Excellent vid indeed, can't wait for the Part 2.

The fact Phoenix said "Because if it really is, then not all truths are worth unraveling..." meant He didn't hold grudge towards Klavier, rather he felt bad for him...

Wtf why is this written so well, if i knew nothing about ace attorney i would honestly think this is the real game
