There is a surprising amount of Phineas and Ferb lost media

Newt was cancelled because the story was too similar to Rio. Not because it wasn’t working.

I really love how you mention the people who released or uploaded list media, giving them a shout out

I would literally pay BILLIONS to see a full version of the scrapped shock collar plot line of the zootopia. BILLIONS PEOPLE

14:00 I Remember Seeing The Toy Story 3D Double Feature back when it happened, and I am shocked that a piece of my childhood has become lost media

The simon pegg phineas and ferb episode was just found!

I had just watched a video from Yesterworld Entertainment about the making of the Nightmare Before Christmas, in his version of the situation, Vincent Price was supposed to be the narrator/Santa and he first recorded the Santa dialogue, but before starting on the narration, his wife passed away and he quit the project

In recent news, it was confirmed that Gigantic has moved from Disney animation to Sky dance animation under the direction of Wreck it Ralph/ Zootopia director Rich Moore. We do not know if the film will be a musical or a modern re-telling of the fable.

Maybe it's just me but I clicked on this vid just to see if the SVTFOE pilot was mentioned and, yeah. This checks out.

There is one that most people don’t know about,
It’s the It’s A Small World animated series that was uploaded by Disney on Youtube and suddenly all the episodes got taken down, and the only available episode is the one on the Rosetta Stone channel last time i checked,

What makes this even more interesting is that Disney repurposed the theme song of this show into the end credits song of the Christopher Robin film they released

Uh oh someones been researching more “art” 👀

Just a little add on for Gigantic. It was confirmed in a recent interview that “Into the Unknown” from Frozen II was planned to feature in that film before being repurposed into that film.

Very informative and interesting video! I've always been fascinated by Rapunzel Unbraided. It had this bizarre plot where the actual Rapunzel switches bodies with a squirrel (??) and then a San Francisco girl becomes the princess?? Seems to be Disney's first attempt at cracking the Shrek/Dreamworks formula. Would've been a weird movie.

That thumbnail though.

This is an amazing video as always but the volume is just all over the place.. the narration itself I have to strain to hear w the volume at nearly max only to be confronted with a super loud sound/film clip then screamed at by commercials (that part is YouTube’s fault though not yours)
I hate that I’m being a wet sandwich in the comments but just wanted to let you know. You’re still one of my favorite media history content makers out here though!

In 1986, Paul Verhoeven & Phil Tippett
almost directed an early version of
what became Disney's "DINOSAUR"
(2000) from a script by Walon Green
where the story (which had no dialogue)
centers on a Styracosaurus named
Woot, his mammalian friend Suri and the
villainous T. rex named Grozni.

The film was originally much darker
and violent in tone, in a style akin to
a nature documentary.

At the end, Woot & Grozni would fight
in a death match that results in Woot
winning, but this proved to be fruitless
as the infamous K-T asteroid crashed
into Earth, resulting in the extinction of
the dinosaurs.

Ngl, ive been drawing alot of things like the Jessica rabbit in the thumbnail that i wasnt even fazed by it when i saw it

The video I've been waiting for since the summertime when you uploaded the original animated iceberg video

I can see why the deleted song from Descendants wasn't kept in the final cut. The name was already too similar to a different song in the film and wouldn't have really progressed the plot much.

I don't know if it counts as Lost Media anymore but last month there were 2 animatics found for Fantasia 2000. The most famous or infamous one was based on the original concept thought up by CEO Michael Eisner for the Pomp and Circumstance segment, which was a huge elaborate Disney crossover wedding ceremony for the princesses with their true loves and PREGNANT. It was thought to have never made the cutting room floor as it the crew thought the wedding story felt too cult-like and problematic as little did Einsner known was that line of princesses back then were below 18 and showing them knocked up would give out a huge YIKES!

But in November 2024, Lost Media Busters found an animatic of the piece made in 1992, when it was known as Fantasia II back in the 90s and it would've had Donald Duck trying to make it to the ceremony to send in the royal crowns, which were meant for their babies and they even addressed the pregnancies as 'metaphorical' as the storks from Dumbo drop them down their babies into their parents. It's an amazing find, but I'm happy with the Noah's Ark concept we have now.

The second is not as well known as it was a segment to the music of Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini by Sergei Rachmaninoff which was about a mouse fairy, assigned to deliver sweet dreams to a little girl battling against a demon fairy from nightmares.
