There is one thing that could explain why the layouts keep changing is that how all these buildings are constantly being destroyed throughout the series. It’s logical that the layout wouldn’t be the exact same every time its rebuilt

Patrick’s house makes the most sense as he can dig new rooms

Well SpongeBob is shown to replace his pineapple from time to time so maybe each design is slightly different because of that

13:20 to be fair or honest the Chum Bucket has been exploded/destroyed multiple times throughout the series so maybe Plankton just redecorates/redesigns the floor planning?

26:20 what do you mean? The slide was right next to the door?

Plankton isn't a psycho, he just has a fully equiped torture room, a red box labled with "Pain", an Iron Maiden shaped like his wife, a magnet which is not verry heathy for electronic devices i assume. Just a regular guy.

6:14 I always just assumed Karen can move from the big screen to the rolling stand and vice versa?

if we are ignoring the turtle thing, Patricks house makes way more sense than you think. I always assumed that he can just mold it to whatever he wants considering its all sand and underground.

As a narrator mentioned that he thinks SpongeBob‘s house is in another dimension I believe they all are in another dimension as things just don’t make sense, such as having fire underwater, having a beach, etc. I wouldn’t be surprised if someone like the Flying Dutchman had a swimming pool on his “ship” as there is always change, when you think about it and all the buildings change to fit the environment, sort of like they are bigger on the inside than the outside, and adapts to “Time And Relative Dimensions In Space”

The Krusty Krab isn't a crab trap, it's a old style lobster trap before people started making them from metal.

@Scribbl the library shot at 26:21 does have the slide it is to the top right of the door soo Spongebob might have two entry ways into his library one on the first floor and the second on the top floor

Why are we pretending that Sponegbob canon is actually a thing. The whole show is just so beautifully insane throughout. Nothing adds up.

I love that you use the Battle of Bikini Bottom for the outside layout! I loved that game growing up

25:30 Keep in mind garages aren't just for storing cars(or boats in the context of SpongeBob), people store tools and other things in them.

@YellowLarper2 7 months ago

what if the houses are alive and idk made of sea coral and they mutate and change to fit each occupied fish / mutated sea creature because of the radioactivity in the area of the water

25:38 i can’t drive but my house has a garage, ur point?

To explain how Sandy keeps the tree alive is physics in real life so when something is made of glass, the light will just pass through it and we’ll make a focus in that spot so all the light will focus near the trees so it will get a lot of sunlight to make oxygen and she can just water it

@rosejaylee6313 6 months ago

For one, if you actually look in the scene where SpongeBob was playing the piano, you can literally see the slide right above the door when Patrick opened it. Pay attention

I think these building restructurings happen in between the buildings blowing up it would make some sense that when restructuring the building they decided to add or scrap rooms
