My baby cousin was born with the same issue and the Lord did a miracle. Jesus Christ will come through for y’all too if you ask Him to. I believe it!❤ God bless you❤

When you go through the fire and come out thankful, it’s a sure sign you’ve been with Jesus. Thankful for your outlook and spirit. He is so good.

Zade squealing in his swing with happiness, dog sitting on the chair, Evan making faces with milk taste test, garland catching on fire, Layla painting ornaments. Just part of a normal family. ❤

When Carlin is cutting the box and looks up to talk to the camera, she looks absolutely beauótifulo! That bright smile just lights her face up and those eyes are so, so pretty. She is proof that brown eyes are just as gorgeous as blue, green or hazel. My daughter has beautiful brown eyes, too. Just a suggestion - buy a fire extinguisher from Home Depot or Lowes. You can buy one that’s just ino a can - like bug spray. Keep it in the cabinets next to the oven. You also need one for upstairs, several cans on each floor is really necessary. It would be a travesty for your house to catch fire and for youO to lose a pet or irreplaceable photos. I tell you about this with nothing but love in my heart for you guys. You are so much fun and it really seems like you enjoy life and don’t allows life’s challenges take your spirit away. Keep it up!💕     ~ Linda

Praying for Layla’s complete healing.  Also, Carlin’s.  God is faithful!

The challenge was great!! I vote for more of them, but we got to get Carlin, in on it. Thank you Jesus nothing caught on fire.

Evan is so right about milk… it’s all gross! 😂

NEVER throw water on a large candle fire!  ALWAYS snuff it of oxygen.

I know y’all don’t need my play by play on my daughters. My first daughter has a hole in her heart that wasn’t detected until she was 4 and then I had my second daughter and they checked her at birth and the same thing w her ! It freaked me out and we had pediatric cardiologists checks ups for years once a year until finally they spread the check ups three years apart and then finally my second daughter was the last to be released when she was 17! She went on to be miss teen of the state we live in. They don’t detect the holes anymore ! ❤

Milk challenge lol😂😂😂😂 I don't like milk either!!!     Happy Thanksgiving to you and all THE BATES

I was born with a small hole on my heart too. It closed itself, my last check up was at 15yo. Hopefully is the same case for Layla :).

Christmas lights are so different in America compared to Australia. We mainly do little fairy lights where as you all seem to do bigger bulb 💡 type lights.

Ahhhhhhh Layla!!! 😱😱😱 She is adorable, cute, beautiful and so on. If my kids one day will be half as cute I’ll be so pumped. 🤯😍😍 But for real she is adorable 🥰

I’m not a fan of milk either. I drink nut milk.  Good job Evan.  The garland turned out nicely Carlin. And Layla has such sass and a big personality. Happy Thanksgiving!  We all have so much to be truly grateful.  Prayerful for Layla’s upcoming appointment.

Carlin has me dying reenacting what Evan did 🤣🤣🤣 You guys are hilarious and so fun to watch!  God bless 🙏

Laya Is so grown up to Precious! and Zade Is just to cute! 😊❤

My daughter was born with half a heart (HLHS) so I can totally relate to the “what if” thinking, she’s 12 now, but had to go through 4 open heart surgeries from 6 days old - 4 years old, as well as 7 cardiac catheters, there was so many times she could have been taken from this world, and yet here she is, dreaming big, and accomplishing so much!

I’m so so so happy that you’re all doing so well! Layla is sooo sweet!

I love your sentimental ornaments, they’re so sweet!

I love the Christmas decorations!!! Just trust in the Lord and He will make a way. I know it can be hard sometimes but just hang on there. Happy Thanksgiving to you guys! Praying for Carlin<3

You two have been through so much for a young couple. You should be proud of yourselves. Keeping your family in my prayers.

Condolences on the lost of Carlin's grandmother.
