"He's so good, Punisher had to pull the strap on him because he knew Dewayne was about to get that ass." Thats the best quote describing anything I have heard in a long as time!

Bro Night Thrasher was one of the reasons I started drawing when I was young. Loved this character

@earlj.d.6285 6 years ago

High level intellect, made own suit, finances a team, very much Tony Stark vibes. I loved drawing him as a kid. Being Filipino and seeing his Escrima sticks in comics, I was a fan from the jump

Night Thrasher was one of my top faves in the 90s before he went into obscurity.

I’m so glad he’s slowly coming back from being almost forgotten.

Nightthrasher is truly underrated.
Still 1 of my favorite characters.

Damn! Another rich black man turned vigilante superhero? Hell yes!

New Warriors was dope, I remember buying the 1st one in 89 at 16.

@BigKen60 6 years ago

I was FLORRED when it was revealed that his childhood guardians killed his parents!!!

Man, I still remember the scene in New Warriors when Dwayne can't remember his parents faces... and you just see them as faceless corpses... and how deeply it effected him.
And the time he didn't realize Rage had better dealt with family loss than Thrash himself, and reopened that wound for his ward. Then having to fix an emotional wound he caused.
For whatever problems gave him life, he had some great character moments.

I was a huge fan of the original series of New Warriors. Pretty sure I had ever issue. Marvel Boy, as far as I know, is strictly telekinetic. Zero telepathic abilities.

DUDE, YOU ARE KILLING IT!! GREAT JOB 👌🏽!! Night Thrasher was one of my favorites back in the day. Didn't know him and the New Warriors were making a comeback. Thanks for the heads up and keep doing what you're doing. RESPECT ✊🏽

Dwayne was hardcore. I liked when he threw Nova off a building. He started a whole new dynasty in in comics.

@rell127 6 years ago

My man Dwayne, seriously Marvel should give him the live action treatment to the original black Bruce Wayne.

@thewanderingronin5433 6 years ago

I've seen him in passing but never really looked into him. But now I'm seeing a lot of potential that I would've liked to see in those cancelled TV shows

Brooo!! Night Thrasher was one of my faves growing up! I loved the New Warriors, that put me on to Nova and that lineup was dope! N.T and the New Warriors were my jam, he was like the Tony Stark of the group.

This guy REALLY needs an MCU Mature Animated show here, man!

Night thrasher was always a cool character. Always wanted to see him come back.

I used to love Night Thrasher back in the 90's. Hope they upgrade his armor in the upcoming New Warriors comic.
I know the design will be changed, but he needs a complete overhaul.

"Dewayne was about to get that ass" Lmao 😂 Punisher was g'on learn today.

Loved original Thrasher since his inception and have Every appearance. Major "Bummed "when he died in Civil WAR and always thought the "MTV" TEAM theme was beneath the character. Never much liked his Brother,due to THEIR "rivalry"(you KNOW what I mean). Saw him in INCOMING and wondered HOW. Not a game guy so didn't get every issue of CONTEST(OOPS). ...NOW I know that this IS "Thrashman". THANKS FOR THE INFO. I saw him with Blue Marvel,if this "team" hangs around count me in.
