Paul Dickenson passed away on 26th of November 2024, a great commentator of WSM

This is so sad disturbing to watch. Johnny Perry Jr died 6 weeks after this. More have passed away since Johnny. Very Sincerely, Mrs Johnny Perry Jr

It's hilarious, in hindsight, to hear the commentator questioning if Zydrunas Savickas will be any good at lifting overhead.

I honestly thought Pudzianowski was going to put the shield back in the slot at 150 meters. He didn't even look winded when he dropped it.

2002 was the year that the Scandinavians' hold on WSM was broken by the Eastern Europeans.

Alright Big Zs little getup he did on the Viking press 2:21:09 was almost the most impressive thing he did this whole contest. What an athletic specimen this man was.

Minkwitz really unfortunate to not make the final, one bad event changed everything

1:32:20 I can't stop laughing. Pudz finished basically runiing no problems and casually walks away while all the other guys laying on the ground fighting with that chain XDDDDDD

ah, what a pleasure it was to watch him as a kid :)
actually he wasn't been the strongest man on earth. When entered to the Arnold's classic he was 4th at best...
but in Strongman events, he was an unbeatable warrior for a few years, all thanks to the great stamina that many athletes lack. Maybe he was not able to carry the greatest weight, but in therms of given effort and speed, he was the best. Seeing how he is almost running with all these heavy things is mindblowing.
