When I was growing up in the 1960s in Zimbabwe it was a very common occurrence for labourers who were old and felt intimidated with the idea of opening a bank account and depositing the money. Even long before I was born these illiterate indigenous people took their wages, wrapped it in leather or cloth and his it in hollow tree trunks in the wild. On a couple of occasions my brother's went camping in the wild or near lakes and while setting up their rudimentary tent which was just tarp and a rope and pegs they found these hidden treasures. If the notes or coins were current currency they just put it back but once or twice they found old notes which were no longer in circulation they kept these realising that maybe the person who owned this money may have either passed away or forgotten where they had hidden it. I vaguely remember them bringing it home but I cannot recall what happened to it. I remember the notes were yellow and old. I don't know what happened to the coins. I myself have kept a few coins from my youth which are also not in circulation anymore. Maybe they have some value but to me they are sentimental. I have carefully catalogued them and they will pass down to my son.

Beautiful and high quality wood

Это просто крупно, повезло, такого не бывает, большая редкость, молодец ❤️🫶👍👍👍👍👍👍

That’s a hell of a find in an old tree. That old money will be worth a lot of money to a collector.

This guy deserves a medal for all his hard work.

Discoveries like this show that every tree holds its own story inside. Ancient trees go through years of change, so the interior can be very different from what you see outside. During cutting, moments like this often become unexpected surprises. It’s fascinating to see what’s actually hidden within. What’s the most unusual thing you’ve ever seen found inside a tree?

I’ve watched a lot of outdoor builds, but finding a secret stash hidden inside the ancient timber is next-level intense. My jaw dropped when you started flipping through those bills. Incredible moment caught on camera!

Beautiful wood and awesome find

🙋‍♀️Hard worker!👏🏻👏🏻

Very cool!  Keep the artistic juices flowing!

I wish one of the manufacturers of work and logging boots would sponsor the “ incredibly handsome, bearded,” Belko man.  He’s got enough viewers to justify endorsement deals, maybe for cutters’ safety equipment, too.

Great video

В СССР на это можно было мотоцикл купить

Enjoyed the video keep them coming. Take care. All the best. B. K.

Wow...un tesoro escondido en un troco del enorme arbol.❤😊🎉

Belko has the 59" Stihl bar on his mill, but he still has to cut down the width. Monster
