oh the BP2 isn't actually a Famas. It's a croatian rifle called the VHS-2, but the springfield import model is called The Hellion

11:00 The 6P9 isn't a joke name or a gun that Ubisoft came up with. The 6P9 is the GRAU designation (Soviet/Russian military procurement code) for the PB pistol. It's based on the Makarov, and takes the same magazines, but many major parts aren't interchangeable because it had to be redesigned to accommodate the semi-integral suppressor.

In case anyone was wondering, Deagles are .50 AE. .50 caliber rifles are .50 BMG. Same diameter but abou 4 inches difference in casing and amount of boom. IRL you can not in anyway share ammo between the 2. Always bugged me in some video games.

Finally someone is talking about Far Cry 5 in a positive manner! One of my personal favorites, I played each game in the series, 5 and 2 were the ones that stuck with me the most, and this one probably has the best weapon roster so far, just great all-around. My personal favorite has got to be the 45/70.

I will NEVER pass up on a Far Cry 5 video. The jingle at 0:10 has been my ringtone for years. I love everything about this game and it's easily my favourite sandbox shooter.

9:50 Note on the BP-2. The BP-2 is a Croatian rifle called the VHS-2, and is actually imported by Springfield Armory, renaming it to the Hellion.

The ar-c isn’t a play on the acr. The name is saying it’s an armalite carbine. Which is a short barrel ar-15. The acr (adaptive combat rifle) is a completely different gun with a short stroke gas piston system similar to an ar-18.

The secret to unlocking the hidden potential of a lot of these weapons is headshots. I used to hate the shotguns because they lacked range until I realized you only need to land one pellet to the head to kill on most difficulties, and I think the shotguns do the same thing they do in TF2 where one pellet goes exactly where you are aiming. Throw on a sight, and you can turn any shotgun into one of the most versatile primaries in the game. Same goes for the machine pistols, swap the fire mode to semi auto and you have a light recoiling headshot machine that can also spray bullets in emergencies.

the AR-C is a fictional AR-15 model. it's primarily based on the Mega Arms MATEN (the ambidextrous .308 model to be exact, converted to 5.56), but it's got a mix of various AR parts. the ACR (Adaptive Combat Rifle) Masada was originally designed by Magpul, which does have some AR-15/M16 parts, but isn't an AR-15. the design was licensed to Bushmaster and Remington, the latter of which submitted their version of it for the US Army Individual Carbine Program. the version depicted in Modern Warfare 2 (2009) is the original Magpul design, but the Remaster uses the Remington design

my favorite weapon in Far Cry 5 is the shovel, but i ended up enjoying most of the weapons i used

Im sorry but the RAT4 is not just a "regular rocket launcher". its laser guided following your crosshair, easily taking out flying vehicles, you can send it up over a hill then slam it down on the enemies from the other side, you can fire it up-then reload- then fire again to have a double missle slam

I hate that the dragonov, almost universally, is terrible in video games. When, in reality is considered a very good and sought after sniper. I fired one myself and it’s so smooth and easy to handle it’s almost unreal

9:52 Hi, Croat here. The rifle is actually not a French Famas, it's Croatian VHS-2.
Sold in US by Springfield Armory as the Hellion. But if I do remember correctly the Famas was an inspiration.
So technically it makes sense that the rifle is in the game as the semi-auto version is available in the US.
