“It seems that everyone has a good experience working at Dhar Man” that aged like milk

I like how in this universe Dhar Mann just acts like D&D isn’t the coolest thing ever right now because of the popularity of Critical Role and it being in Stranger Things.

Every time Jordan hit us with the D&D knowledge to correct this video was the best lol

I love the "character" of Jordan critiquing the D&D scenes, because I, too, immediately went "Oh, you cast a spell do you?"

ngl they (probably unintentionally) nailed the vibes between an only child and single parent with the “you’re all I have and my only friend” on both ends 😭

Okay, the Dad is meant to be uncomfortable and cringe, but he is so adorable, I'd defend him with my life. Hit back with;
"At least my Dad loves me." Clearly that kids parents do not. Being a shitty person is way worse than being a nerd.

this is wild in many ways but mostly because as someone who JUST graduated high school, there is no way in HELL that a bunch of teenagers wouldn't be EXTREMELY excited by that teacher

Jarvis, did you maybe consider the reason your Jinzo was torn in half was because you’re a second rate Duelist with a third rate deck?

Has anyone ever in their life seen someone come in to introduce the substitute teacher for your class?? I have been both a teacher AND a substitute and I've never seen this but it happens in every single video/tv show/movie. Is there really no way to convey to the audience that there's a sub other than someone just saying "hey everyone the teacher is sick so here's someone who is not the usual teacher"?

to be fair, in my uni there was a d&d group that had only 2 members on like 3rd year who were just sitting around painting the figures bought with uni's money bc they couldn't even play, and then my year rolled in and the guy from my group took over and now the club has over 20 members from different courses and years

“Beam me up, McGonagall!” has to be the best thing I’ve ever heard

Imagine having no awareness of how MTG, DnD, and video games are the most dominant parts of culture right now and rarely ever are a reason for bullying. Good ol' Dhar

Everyone know the real pain of dnd is having a group of friends who want to play but no one wants to DM. Or scheduling lol.

the "WHAT ARE YOU INVESTIGATING?!" shriek from jordan is so unironically funny. and, his wand could emit light depending on the item!!

As someone who has had the high school experience of my teacher dad showing up as my substitute with no prior warning, it's accurate that the dad immediately reveals to everyone that his kid's in the class. My dad also felt the need to announce it to everyone. Nothing too over-the-top embarassing, but he did try to slide in some Boomer jokes throughout the lesson (like about men not asking for directions and such) that the class didn't respond to at all. It wasn't as much of a surprise because he taught at that school regularly, but he never really had the chance to embarass me in front of my peers because we had different schedules and teachers are too over-worked to spend too much time mooning over their teen kids. I did overhear some random kids saying that he was "crazy" once, but I just found it funny more than anything.

The dad was genuinely pissing me off. I'm literally autistic and I still realise a teenage girl would not feel comfortable with a grown man inviting himself to their high school club. Plus he was ignoring clear boundary setting (eg. son requesting he not call him Jackie at school).

Edit: He literally admitted he'd be embarrassed if his own dad was ever his teacher, so why did he not consider his son's feelings? Having the dad as a club supervisor/DM works better, but when he invited himself, that wasn't what he implied.

jordans question at 1:30 didnt age very well

was crying laughing on the stream every time Jordan went into D&D rant mode, funniest shit ever

As an avid D&Der, i loved the little rants abt how inaccurate the game bits were lmao

"D&D stands for Dumb and Dorky!" Oooooh, snap! Ain't no way to come back from that epic 80s sitcom burn!

Seriously, how old is Dharman?? There are still bullies in high school, but no one is bullying folks who like D&D and other nerdy stuff, anymore, lol.
