He have more grace and elegance than many players...

I met Edburg briefly on Cape Cod at Ocean Edge resort about 15 years ago in the tennis pro shop.  It was just us two in there, I recognized him and did not want to bother him.  He came over to me and said hi.  He was so humble even in that encounter.  This is my favorite tennis interview ever.  He was humble just like I remember him a long time ago.

Such a class guy. He could have taken shots at anyone but instead, he focused on their character, expertise and showed his admiration for other players, who he beat and who beat him!

His serve and volley made tennis a beautiful sport. My absolute favourite tennis legend.

My idol, cool , calm, collected, grace, elegance, sportsman ship.. His image of serving even made into the iconic AO once.. The legend S.Edberg

Stefan Edberg has been my hero. In fact, to call myself 'a fan of Edberg' would not commensurate the respect I have for Edberg. Whenever a discussion  about past greats of tennis takes place Edberg's name has always been my topic. The serve and volley, the elegant single handed backhand and swiftness in the court are the subject of endless discussion. As a tennis player at Club level there were attempts to copy his kick serve and cross court/ down the line backhands. But it was impossible to imitate or replicate the peculiar twist of wrist during serve at ball contact point. Stefan is a perfect gentleman, elegant conduct and a role model for every sportspersons. I wish him well and it would be nice to hear him more often.

I used to be a big fan of Stefan I cried when he lost the French Open in 1989 in 5 sets. Had he won it he could have completed Grand Slam of winning all the four major he had  won Australian , Wimbledon and US Open only French Open was eluding him. Good to see his interview after 30 years❤❤❤❤

The way Edberg played the game ... sheer elegance and style.  He kept his cool and focused on his game. I enjoyed watching him and I loved his game. Gone were those days ...I feel  so sad.

Met Stefan in Paris at the Trophée Lagardere in 2008.
Was lucky enough to have a couple of photos from him.
That year, he was playing on the senior tour, and his game was still so impressive!!!

This was a really fantastic narrative and walk through by Stefan 👏🏻

The way he walked on court, his hair style, cool, his style &  approach  still fresh in my mind.

Such an eloquent, decent and wonderful modest person is Mr Edberg. Describes everything in this video so well.

Stefan is a true legend. Graceful and extremely hard working

I'm Mathew indiano living in bahrain...one of my. Favorite player all time Stefan edberg...bcoz of his character in his job ....simple and humble man....mostly Scandinavians are simple and humble humanbeings

Stefan Edberg was the most graceful player i have watched

Wonderful tennis player and wonderful person.  My greatest respect to Edberg.

He was my idol & I am very glad to  hear him again . What a calm & composed speech with clarity of thoughts. No ego . Only respect for the other legends. He chose them correctly. (boris  baker / evan lendal ) .

I even got to watch him once in person. To this day it is the most beautiful serve I've ever seen. It was ballet.

I still have the Edberg pro staff although I stopped playing tennis for 25 years.

What an honest, classy, complete pro!  Stefan is who you want to be in your corner when you want a keen analyst of your opposition and a personal coach who won't lie to you.
