I have been taking them over 20 years. I’m in chronic pain every day of my life now it makes it harder to get because people don’t know how to use it correctly. They always got to blame the doctor or someone that doesn’t make any sense now because of people like me I have trouble getting what I need.
My cousin has been running his own mental, in patient, Substance, and Transitional Housing, called Michael's House, to help the homeless since our local mayor only made a few little housing community for limited people, and you have to be on the street for three years to qualify. Michael's House takes people that don't have money for rehab.
The oxy and other opioid never helped my pain, which was muscle and tendon related. Advil and a bag of crushed ice worked so much better. However, they made me feel good.
From my viewpoint as a Chronically ill person who suffers from Chronic Pain based in the UK see a major part of the problem you have in the U.S. are your Doctors prescribing opioids irresponsibly or they enjoy the 'kick backs' from drug companies because they want a new BMW. You as a nation have to deal with this & force said Doc of rs re-read the Hippocratic oath , especially the part about causing no harm !
After I got my wisdom teeth out, I was given ten days worth of Vicodin. I took it for two days, then stopped as it made me feel weird. I immediately took the leftover pills to the pharmacy and had them dispose of it properly.
