"I promise never to leave you in zombie apocalypse. We'll die together, I mean we won't make it long but we'll be together"

So sweet and so funny😂

Saying Robert Carlyle looks like Keanu Reeves might just be the most insane first impression out of pocket actor comparison of alllll time Bridget 🥇 😅

“was that Jeremy Renner? From the Jeremy Renner app?!”

I know Dons decision  to run was a very real human reaction but I love the contrast to the decision the kids make to never leave each other even in death.

Don isn't a villain because he ran away. She chose to save a random child she just met over keeping herself alive for her children. And Don couldn't have helped, he had no weapon

Hot take: Don made the right decision early in the movie. Where he made a foolish decision was later in the movie bypassing security.

The true villians.....children 😅

Trivia: If you wonder who directed the opening sequence of 28WL? Danny Boyle himself. While he was making Sunshine on his other project, he got on board of the production of 28WL as an executive producer. The man himself made the best zombie film opening ever.

And now for the "part" that Don did at the beginning. We all have done the same thing as Don during the house attack by hordes of Infected. Don made the right decision by getting the fuck outta there. His wife however made the stupidest decision by letting the kid into their house, WHO THEY JUST MET FOR SEVERAL MINUTES. Don ain't a coward as he made his sane choice.

Cody will never not make me laugh man 😂😂 the delivery, the high pitched voice, and the humor is just a perfect mixture - he’s awesome 😂😂

I love the way the movie added so much more to the infected, infected Don getting that flash of his wife's face when his daughter shouted his name AND the way he was actively hunting his children was wild. The infected are still monsters but this movie shows there's something more there. Can't wait for the new oneeee.

The White Cliff of Dover are the signs they were leaving the Island of Britain and heading to Mainland Europe.... with a carrier! Chilling...

I never understood why Jeremy Renner's character didn't just TELL his buddy in the helicopter that the kids might be the solution to a cure

Funny annecdote of this film.   I was living in London at the time working as Cinema Projectionist and I was heading to work on a early sunday morning and as I was walking down the main street to get the underground, i started to encounter a empty street with rubbish blowing away and a car upsidedown,  I was what the f+++k is going on|.   And all the sudden a security stop me as they were recording the pizza corner scene were they get the red motorbike.   I saw how was recorded the take and then let go through walking  that desolated street to access the station.   Location is Crouch End, London,  my manager didn't buy I was late because the recording of the film.

Cody, that was a swan not a goose😁Love you guys ❤

the dude at the start you said looked familiar plays Rumpelstiltskin in Once Upon A Time, maybe that's where you recognize him from?

Completely agree about the tube station separation!
They fall down the stairs, go completely mute, and THEN roll onto a different platform 2km away 😂

The picture quality of 28 Days Later was a deliberate artistic choice. Danny Boyle's films are not slapped together without care for aesthetics; some might even complain that he relies too heavily on his visual style.

After watching the newer releases I believe that the dad was definitely the first hint at an alpha he just seemed smarter than the rest. Also the children were 1000% the villains here

That's Robert Carlyle, Rumpelstiltskin in Once Upon a Time.
He was also in Trainspotting and The Full Monty.

I only realized just a few minutes ago that the mom played William Wallace's young wife in Braveheart.
I bet I'm the last one to figure that one out!

What I like is how realistic Don is!  Not everyone is a hero when faced in an immediate fight or fight situation.  He absolutely had regrets about that situation and I believe while being a coward, he very much loved his family and with his wife being immune to becoming a rager, Don would have died if he stayed.

Yeah, absolutely love this movie and what a stacked cast before these folks hit even bigger stardom! The Military Scientist, played by Rose Byrne plays Moira MacTaggert in X-Men First Class and X-Men Apocalypse if ya'll didn't know/see those movies
