This house, over 200 years old, has belonged to our family for more than half a century, but it was abandoned three decades ago and has become what you see here.
Today we're finally going to clear the balcony, which is one of the most beautiful and characteristic features of our house and of Canarian architecture. It was so neglected that vines had become part of it, and we'd never seen such large plants before.
Along the way, we've come across more than one surprise and antique, which are part of the house's history and which we would love to restore.
The balcony isn't in great condition, but we're confident we can make it look brand new and return it to its original state—it deserves no less!
If you'd like to join us in the renovation process of this century-old house, see how we progress step by step, and you enjoy DIY projects, follow us because this is your channel!
Do you think we'll manage to make the house look brand new?
Follow us on social media too: @casavegagc we've made a bit more progress there but we'll catch up here soon too :)
