I love thunderstorms in pine forests the most, especially in places like this where it's really easy to get lost. I found an unlocked hunting stand nearby, so I had somewhere to hide while the storm passed.
That silence in the forest when a storm is approaching, and the warm, heavy air just before the rain... that's something I'm really going to miss when summer is over.
Luckily, I was able to capture it and share it with you :)

i was trying to find an ambient video to play for the last 10 minutes and kept getting hit w the most ai generated slop and finally i stumbled across this one and it just so happens my birthday is july 23rd, what a beautiful coincidence.

What wonderful timing. We've had a draught where I live in the US, my yard was beginning to turn brown. Garden was barely hanging on. Not but one hour ago we finally had our first thunderstorm in over a month. Thanks for the ambience!
