Your stories are art, the video essays are masterful, your own drawings are amazing and even just the narration alone has made me watch and listen to your videos time and again. I couldn't watch a film more than once a decade at best; I'm so glad for the content you've provided. It's helped thru a couple of times to keep calm and carry on.
You're an artist and a master.
Oh, and your art is stunning - don't know how I'd missed it.
Sorry to sound like a nut job or as if I was out of my mind - I'm just bloody impressed!

You tell this so well that i could actually see him throughout the entire story!

This short story is a real gem with a truly unexpected twist, featuring an excellent and colourful drawing. Thank you for spoiling us with your wonderful creativity, Mark!

In addition to being a talented writer, you are the perfect narrator for your engaging stories!

Hooray! Just in time to listen to while I make dinner! Always a treat to listen to your stories!

Yes Indeed very timely ! Thank you kindly sir. Your writing and your narration are impeccable. Kudos to you

Love the ending!  Left me with questions though. Well done.

Great story...I could see him throughout his journey 😊..thanks for your work, so enjoyable.

A great story read beautifully by you Mark. I love your deep  voice.

He did not practice his day entirely well. Thank you once again for such an entertaining story.

Oh Mark you have such a wonderful knack of narrating your stories. As others have said I could see Crispin on every step of his journey. The twist came and another Mark Maguire legend is born. I love your work sir!

Hi Mark, I just wanted to say thank you for never bringing politics, world disasters, wars, or contemporary controversies etc into your stories!  Each is full of humanity: human foibles, emotions, weaknesses, strengths and endeavours.  It means that they are both timeless and always a wonderful escape, whilst still being thought-provoking and pertinent.  I can sit and listen to any of your stories and be utterly transported into the story world you're describing, and thoroughly enjoy it! I look forward to each and every one! xx

This story reminds me of a 1953 Marilyn Monroe movie, 'Niagara'.

Oh! I am in for a treat! Thank you Mark!

"Until it gradually evolved from wishful thinking into a hope, and then hardened into a plan."  That sentence is so gripping!  It is the perfect segue into the next part of the story.  Brilliant!  And your voice is so gripping too.  You are such a good story teller.  Well done, Mark!  I love the drawing too!  The red dress is spot on for this story.

Yes!  The ending was as I thought.
Do I know your mind too well?  Poor Emily.

Thanks for this story sir! You are a true wordsmith.  God Bless and keep ‘em coming.

I am so pleased I have come across your channel I really enjoyed this story so much that I have started to listen to all your stories from the beginning Thank you for all your hard work

It’s absolutely scorching hot here on the south coast of England today.  I’m sitting quietly with a cup of coffee and my cross stitch, the coffee will undoubtedly be lukewarm to cold by the time I remember to drink it and not a stitch done because I am too engrossed in yet another one of your excellent stories. Thank You so very much 😊

Ah, yes… The twist!!!
