Absolutely heartbroken today. Interviewing him was the happiest moment of my life. A true American artist, a giant is gone.

"No matter what the weather is, I wish for all of you blue skies and golden sunshine internally all along the way" - David Lynch

Imagine being extremely nervous about meeting your favorite director ever and then later learning that he thought your film was his favorite of all time. That’s literally a dream-like experience.

00:49 "So right then I could have passed away peaceful and happy" 🥹 David Lynch RIP

Kubrick connecting to Eraserhead and Lynch connecting to Lolita makes a lot of sense.

rip david lynch 💔 dont ever let em forget an idea

In heaven, everything is fine

Among a number of things I'd like to thank Mr Lynch for, there's one that's rather personal: years ago, a girl I had met some days before asked me to show her a movie. I didn't know much about her, but I chose Eraserhead. I thought "If she likes it, we could talk together about interesting things for a long time." She liked it. Some years later we got married. We still talk every day.
Thank you, Champ (that's short for Champion).

RIP David Lynch :(

i feel like i've lost a best friend i've never met but always known. i've never experienced a sense of loss and grief for someone I have never met the way that I have today. we'll see you in the trees Mr. Lynch.

I'm so sad after hearing his news, RIP David Lynch. One of the greatest directors, never to be forgotten.

"At that moment I could have passed away peaceful and happy" We all hope you have, Maestro, we all hope you have.

"In Heaven
Everything is fine
You got your good things
And I've got mine"
