“I remember thinking, well, God exists and if God made me and made everything, then God Himself is the meaning of life, right? And therefore I wouldn’t really want to do anything with my life that didn’t have some orientation towards God. Anything else would be a distraction.” - Sr. Elizabeth John

Profound. Beautiful spirit-filled discussion, Sisters! 💜✝️💜

I study materiality and I love what Sister said about how God works through material things and the material world (not verbatim). Thank you for this. 😊

God will use anything to capture our attention! Thank you for this message, Sister. Please pray for my children to be captured by God's attention to their plan and purpose in life, for His greater glory 🙏🏻

I wish there was more about how her parents took all this. My atheist parents are certainly not a fan, and it's very difficult to navigate...

What a great story! A lot of what Sister Elizabeth pondered after watching the movie, about her life’s impact, resonates with me. I ask God to guide me on how to live a life full of purpose and for His kingdom.

New subscriber here. I love the humor of Sister Elizabeth John, especially when she mentions "I won the golden ticket...but there was no fizzy lifting drink involved." So adorable. But may I argue that the Communion wine helps us ascend into heaven?
