Story 1- it's defamation. What do you mean they can't do anything?!?!?!

My dad had dementia. He confessed to me that he had cancer. He made me promise not to tell my mom.
He was in the hospital a few months later and I asked him about the cancer and he was so confused and had no idea what I was talking about.
Weird shit happens during dementia

Hii MTG nerd here. Black Lotus is mostly valuable because of its icon status (also the diss to the art was painful lol). It's scarce bc it's from the first printed sets (Beta would be second printed set). It was the most powerful card at the time it was printed and is still banned in almost every format. NM means "near mint" so excellent condition, and it's very difficult to find NM cards from the original sets. A card like that is purely a collector's item for fans of the game. Most people's collections are not nearly that expensive, I would guess that poster had more Beta set cards like the dual lands, which aren't as expensive but still worth thousands of dollars.

30:13 "play some sudoku, don't just stare at your phones all day"
Me playing Sudoku on my phone 👁👄👁

The police sounds like they want to investigate a murder after a vigilante strikes against the "sex offender".

Dude that stole that specific card done it cause he gain pleasure from hurting her.

He knew thats the best way to hurt her and thats why he done it.

I was a CNA for 5 years and worked with people in various stages of dementia most of that time. In the cheating story it is highly unlikely that they had an affair at all. I would say impossible but strange things do happen I suppose. I had men convinced I was their "other wife", women that needed to call home because "their parents were going to miss them" and people that hadn't walked for years convinced they could get themselves up and walk across the room and would find them in the floor. It is a very devastating disease and really destroys the brain. Most likely the wife has seen the couple walking down the street regularly and stated it was that man because of his familiarity of being seen regularly. I literally had one patient convinced that I had a threesome with him and his wife the night before and telling me about how much he enjoyed it. I can 100% guarantee that I never had that kind of relationship with him and I never would. People in late stages of dementia/Alzheimer's tend to be more like children in the bodies of adults.

My sister used to have a kitten who liked to play in the litter box so she would have to put them in the sink and wash his little paws all the time😂

15:23 They already said that he would be receiving medical interdiction to ensure that he was staying on his meds.

There's only so much we can do, legally, to keep people under supervision. It would take a lot for a court to require some kind of permanent oversight; probably an act of violence that was addressed through the legal system.

Police are basically just there to protect the interests of the wealthy.

Confabulation is worse than memory loss

The old man and cheating husband story, Darby I just think you're not used to a true good guy and are looking to find a flaw.  He sounds good to me.

One of those cards sold in private sale for 3 million. The exact same one she had.

My mother has early-onset Alzheimer’s. She’s 60. It’s awful. I’m 23, she started showing signs when I was around 15.

Sarby's a real one for time stamping his videos. And for giving us so much content! I listen to you every day. Like literally every day lol 😂

23:26 sarby its a lil toxic to think that a man supporting his wife and wants her to do better is a "possible red flag" lol

Lmao as if the biggest threat to the HOA is two single young women who’ve already been living there most of their lives.

If you use an expensive card like Black Lotus, you can use a proxy in the deck as long as you have the real card with you.

The laws for pawn shops are actually pretty good! Better than what the cops do on their own. If they buy anything that’s stolen they have to just eat the loss. Pawn stars was very educational lol.

33:00 "so silly, so butthole" caught me off guard, I laughed :'D how very doge-coded of you, Sarby!
