FINALLY: SOMEONE REACTED to the STUDIO CUT of this song.  I think it's important to hear this original, prior to watching the Pulse / LIVE performance.  An OUTSTANDING SONG: Musically & Lyrically....but: most of Floyd's albums are concept albums, and are best listened-to, start-to-end - as a WHOLE piece - especially Dark Side, Wish You Were Here, and The Wall.  They are an AMAZINGLY talented band, in my opinion.  ENJOY, FELLAS!!  THANKS for THIS ONE!!  HUGS from TEXAS!!

Dude…no pause’s…respect

Perhaps one of David Gilmour's best guitar playing ever recorded.

Perhaps the most tragic lyrics ever written about the loss of childhood innocence- "When I was a child I caught a fleeting glimpse out of the corner of my eye. I turned to look, but it was gone.  I cannot put my finger on it now, the child is grown, the dream is gone."

This song is but a chapter in the entire saga...

Thank you for not interrupting the song

Comfortably numb is exactly how you feel while listening to this song. Calming and trippy at the same time

GOD DAMN!! FINALLY a first time reaction to the studio version, the best version of Comfortably Numb. Is about TIME!!!

If you think this song is gripping you tightly, listen to the entire album to understand its context and then your mind will truly be blown.😎😉

You guys looked so intent in your listening like you didn't want to miss a note. Loved it.

Back in my younger years I was a bank teller and our drive-up kiosks were rather tall. A pinto or gremlin pulled up and I could barely see the top of the car. No one spoke for like 30 seconds,so I smiled at me co-worker, got on the microphone, and said, “Hello, is there anybody in there? Just smile if you can hear me? Is there anyone at home.” Al I heard was laughter.😃

You guys did not stop the song once, totally entranced. Pink Floyd takes you away and creates feelings and moods like no other band.

One of the BEST guitar solos in rock history at the end of this song.

live to Pulse concert 1994 is out of this world .. 😎👍🎶🎶

I remember the day i bought this album i was 17 at the time and it was my third PF album lol I'm now 63 and watching you gentlemen listening to music that has literally gotten me thru life and I still listen to it regularly

I grew up on the 60’s and 70’s music. These guys were forces - and they weren’t the only ones. A great time to be young.

Pink Floyd Pulse please 🔥🔥🔥

There will never be another Pink Floyd. They are in a class and music genre of their own.

Not only are the lyrics and vocals good,  but those solos take you to another dimension

One of the best solos in rock history!
