There is no xenophobia in the Imperium. The fears are rational.

The Ruinous Powers failed to destroy the Imperium within its own universe, the Ruinous Powers had to infiltrate our universe and destroy it from here.

The setting of Warhammer isn't the way it is because of the imperium. The imperium is the way it is BECAUSE OF THE SETTING.

They hate the established Warhammer 40,000 lore so instead of ignoring it and move on finding another fictional universe to enjoy they want to transform Warhammer 40,000 and ruin it.

Isn’t it weird they have never made such a disclaimer of violence for Khorne or Slaanesh, only the Imperium?

If the guardians of an IP do not respect it, they don't deserve it

“What choice do we have then brothers than to speak to them in a language that they do understand? Not because we seek their understanding, but because it is time that we were understood!”

That is the Imperium as it always should be, it will fight against the entire galaxy not because it is evil, but because there are no other options left.

They are doing to 40k what they are did to fantasy - destroying everything, making something new, then paving over the old ruins with a reboot.

So GW is committing full Brand Suicide.

Didn't every single xenos race betray mankind after the war with the Iron Men left them weakened?  As far as I know, mankind was nice to everyone until everyone tried to kill and eat them.

Isn't it incredible how GW is always a few years behind every corporation?

Even Larry Fink is saying that woke was a massive failure.

I should start a conservationist effort to collect ALL the 7th edition rulebook and codices. That way, when GW finishes murdering 40K, i can still play it in the way it should be.

If there's anything "satirical" about anything Warhammer related it's how GW's subversion by Marxists is reminiscent of Chaos corruption or a genestealer cult infiltration.

The feeling of being a fan of 40k, Star wars, Halo, et cetera...

GW make lorgar a bad guy for obvious reasons.

GW then hires lorgar to speak for them and follow his vision.

Lorgar then declares that it was all just a joke and satirical to make his political point.

Nobody internally bats an eye.

Make it make sense.

The Fandom of Theseus

One of my favorite stories of 40k lore is in the 5e rulebook. A farmboy on an ag-world has migraines, he doesn't report himself to the authorities because he's scared of going away on a black ship. He has developing psychic powers which cause him to erupt into a portal and Nurgle's forces to invade, disease wipes out the civilians and the crops, escalation to Guard and Astartes fighting against Khorne and Slaanesh joining in, and ultimately destroy the planet via Exterminatus.

That is a level of insidiousness that cannot reasonably be dealt with. The paranoia is valid because the threat is real and the consequences are so insanely high. A planet of billions died as reality was ripped to pieces because of a boy with a headache. The boy was absolutely a victim but the bad guy isn't the Imperium, even if they would have treated him cruely.

By retconning the Imperium's presentation, GW is exerting its own lust for power over me, from my point of view.

As an old star wars fan, Witcher fan, and so on. 40k fans, my sympathy keep up the fight yours might still be saved, maybe.
