Technically another version of shazam who is another version of Superman lol

@DubKingReggie 2 weeks ago

Marvel using Armageddon to back door Miracleman will never not be funny to me.

@shanethewatcher6163 2 weeks ago (edited)

forgot Gladiator

@AngelPerez-tu1nk 2 weeks ago

I honestly and genuinely thought that Marvel had forgotten about that Miracleman tease in Timeless

@HarryDawson-o4c2x 2 weeks ago

Let's also give props to the art he's one of the Marvel's best right now

@Daddy_Kaiju 2 weeks ago

According to the solicits, he's at least making it out of the event so that's at least something.

Fawcett didn't create Marvelman.
Miller & Son, the British publisher that RE-PRINTED Captain Marvel in the UK created Marvelman when they ran out out of imported material.
And yes, it is kinda annoying that Miracleman is American now.

@WatchSecretCrisis 2 weeks ago

Well they already knocked off Miracle Man with Sentry...

@karmabum21 2 weeks ago

the Avengers need a Superman to fight because the team is usually so stacked that they need an even bigger threat to justify it

@WeaponXcel 2 weeks ago

There’s also Gladiator and the Korean Superman(forgot his name)

@afraisia 2 weeks ago

Mr. Fantastic in Civil War I didn't make sense so Carol Danvers in Civil War II continues the trend.

@deltaprime3509 2 weeks ago

Well closer to Shazam but I get what you mean.

@midnitehour1 2 weeks ago

When I first got into comics, I def thought of Shazam as a Suoerman pastiche, but over time I think he represented his own archetype. Superman’s inspired characters: Mr,Majestic, Gladiator, Apollo, Plutonian - whereas the Shazam archetype is characters like: Miracle Man, Thor, Sentry - there more reality warmers than tanks

On the upside, the Javier Rodrigues (artist of Absolute Martian Manhunter) variant of Avengers Armageddon looks amazing (it almost makes me want a Miracle Man comic by Chip Zdarski and Javier Rodrigues…Almost)

@ABenAbides 2 weeks ago

20:33 Carol Danvers is jobbing hard in this comic run

@kingkiller244 2 weeks ago

I originally didn't think I would like Colton now I hope they won't shelve him

@jasonsaddison 2 weeks ago

I absolutely agree the Armageddon arc has been character assassination for Carol Danvers. That isn't even a good wrestling booking, because then you would elevate both characters, but they're jobbing her out left and right.

@screamingmonnkey 2 weeks ago

Six months
And yes you did skip Kallark “Gladiator”

@kanjibaka 2 weeks ago

Being a casual and seeing most of the non DC/Marvel characters in Vs pages/groups on Facebook,Reddit and twitter was very informative about characters like Miracle man,Man of miracles and Dr Solar as op characters and seeing him in the biggest comics company currently is actually fascinating

Honestly, if it wasn't Carol getting crapped on, it probably would have been Thor in her position. But since he is currently dead and Hulk is technically possessed/separated from Banner, Carol would be the (unfortunate) next best choice. That being said it still sucks to see her (or any character) get treated like this.
