This is a big step for me, making a video that isn't about Minecraft. I would really appreciate if you like and hype the video. I'm really proud of this one, and would love to do more like it. Don't worry, Minecraft videos aren't stopping, but I would love to try to branch out into other games.

There's a few more parallels that relate Jevil to Kris' relationship with us, Jevil is an immensely powerful being who believes his choices have no consequences seeing the whole world as a game to be played, with the only thing holding him back from rampaging is the cage he is locked within.
Kris is referred to as 'the cage' in the prophecy and has to try and hold us back from committing atrocities (such as the weird route) due to the fact we perceive the world as a game where our actions have no consequences due to our ability to simply go back.
In short Jevils cage is allegorical to Kris and Jevil is allegorical to US.

Kris when every relatable person they've ever met are the physical manifestations of broken dreams: 😐

Cutting between relevant footage and failing that one section of Flower Castle is top tier editing work

kris and the crystals sounds like an 80's band

Love the alternating clips of you absolutely styling on Jevil and then failing at the platforming segments in ch 5

hey, hey, according Jevil, remember what Noelle said in side b on the shore? "If you tell me what to do... *I can do anything*"

I just realized that Susie is the reason we fight the secret bosses (except for ERAM, the mikes, and the Trashy Trio)

Jevil: Susie stands up to him

Spamton NEO: Susie rude busters him, which provokes him to fight The Fun Gang

The Roaring Knight: Susie threatens the Knight and stops them from kidnapping Toriel

Gerson (Hammer of Justice): Susie accepts Gerson's challenge

Pink: Susie points out that Pink isn't a flower

Parkour your worst nightmare it seems

kris🤝spamton🤝dog begging for boiling water on the stove

7:57 seeing kris and jevil next to each other made me realize kris’s shirt has the same colors as jevil’s neck thing

Flower jumps had me on the edge of a full on crashout

What if the parallel between Kris and Gerson is… training Susie? Gerson trains Susie and teaches her valuable lessons all throughout chapter 4, sometimes in subtle or otherwise sneaky ways (e.g., tricking her into using her healing magic on Jack).

What if Kris has been doing something similar throughout the whole game? Perhaps they see the same thing in Susie that Gerson does - a bastion of hope, the thing that could potentially overwrite the tragedy. And to that end, they have been doing their best to manipulate events, going so far as working with the Knight and forestalling our acquisition of the shelter codes, to ensure that Susie lives the right experiences, forges the right bonds, and learns the right lessons to realize her full potential and ultimately save the day? This would tie in with the idea that Kris is burdened with knowledge of what will happen: while they might independently be powerless to change fate, they are using that knowledge to their advantage to precisely mold Susie into the force that can. (And incidentally, that would make the weird route a twisted parallel: the player manipulating events to mold Noelle into a harbinger of calamity)

Kris has many moments of acting  on their despite the soul being in. They are more free than people assume. The reason they don't feel free is probably the prophecy

i misread the title as kris ate the shadow crystals

26:51 I'm half expecting him to say "ahh thank you for bringing me the crystals, finally I can become my true self... Saruman the Purple"

HOLY [[CUNGADERO]]!! WHAT A [[5/5 STAR ABSOLUTELY THRILLING]] VIDEO THIS WAS! THE [[VOICES CALLING OUT TO ME]] WERE UNBELIEVABLE, ESPECIALLY FOR THE [BEST RATED SALESMAN 1999]] HIMSELF!!!

1:39 ffs I JUST realized that Gerson also requires keys to fight… piano keys

9:19 Playibg the chapter, I also found it deeply unsettling that Spamton is the same height/size as Kris.

Toriel, Undyne, AND Asgore.  These aren't just basic monsters.  These are two boss monsters and one of the toughest monsters in Undertale.   The Knight might want lightners to create more Roaring Knights out of or maybe absorb them or amalgamate together.  But the knight isn't just going after random lightners otherwise Monster Kid, Catti, Jockington, Alvin, Alphys, PizzaPants, etc etc etc.... I could go on.
