I recently bought a 2017 L405 Range Rover with the 5.0L SC V8.  Pre-face lift, old physical interior, but it has CarPlay.  It has everything that makes this car great, but without the bad parts.  I got it for $17k and have put in about $5k tightened up.  I also have a Tesla as my daily driver that I don’t drive anymore.  My family only wants to go in the 10 year old RR.

I have a 2015, 5.0 Supercharged Long Wheelbase version and it's just epic! I have 135,000+ miles on it as of today, and it's had minimal issues. I had to replace the plastic water pipes at 92,000 miles and had a slight leak from the water pump repaired, but other than that it's an utterly brilliant way to travel in comfort and quiet. We use it to tow a 7,200 lb Airstream, it gets loaded up with my kids' mountain bikes, tents, etc for their mountain bike race weekends.

It has a Viezu tune on it, so instead of being at 510 HP it's at 608.. It's BONKERS quick for such a big beast; the torque is at 614 and it's mostly down low, so at 1,700 rpm, it's up by 90+ Ft.Lbs over stock, so it tows even better.

As a long distance family vehicle for road trips, camping, trailering, it's by far my favorite vehicle I've ever owned. I change the oil every 4,000 miles without fail (I do the changes myself - it's ridiculously easy with a vacuum pump) and I have a Blackstone Labs oil analysis done every oil change, so I can keep an eye on wear metals, etc; she's still clean as a whistle.

I have a 2025 Range Rover and absolutely love the touchscreen controls. Super intuitive. Well laid out. Everything is a clicker two away no issues whatsoever.
