I'm new to WoW but I'm hyped to try out Forever. Will be doing Warlock as I like controlling pets and DoTs sounds fun. Can't wait to see what else you cook up for info!

Maybe im in the minority but i prefer when Warlock isnt that popular. More people playing tends to = more nerfs or attention towards the class. That Wow forever dev podcast there wasnt much mentioned about Warlocks however Chris Metzen did say the 20 yard fear was an "oversight" so lets hope we get 24/26 yard option come launch.

I always end up CoR yoyoing the mobs on bad pulls. Love the play.
Gunna be doing 2 locks. Troll/orc demo pve UD for slsl pvp.

You can now summon ppl outside the instance now from inside the instance.

Want to play Warlock but Priest is so comfy and I know it really well.

Twenty year rogue here, leveled a fire mage in anniversary and i noticed that locks were a lot more hardy in my pvp fights. Started a sl lock but got busy with my four rogues in outland. So now im gonna try two locks. Troll destro and ud demo. Liking the idea of a high ceiling in skill.

I coming back to lock again. I love Druid but they gave lock everything i could reasonably hope for and im comfortable with Lock management already. Shards, dot management and pets can seem daunting if your new but it feels like home to me! Cant wait! ( Upgrading my CPU and i should be on the BETA very soon!)

i'm really torn between Affliction and demonology, affliction because the Idea of a forsaken affliction warlock goes hard for me, and demonology because i love pet classes, its such a hard choice

Warlock and Paladin have always been my two favorite classes to play, by a huge amount, and both feel really good to play right now.
I think Paladin edges out Warlocks so far in playing, but I haven't been doing dungeons, raids, or battlegrounds, and I know those are areas where I usually prefer Warlock.

You summed it up well, they basically smoothed some unneeded edges and finished the class design. The spec that really changed the most is demo, and that’s because the old demo tree was a support tree for the others, it wasn’t supposed to be the focus of any build.

@Gr33nsurfer 1 hour ago

I also think warlock looks like to have the most complexe rotation as far as I can tell from talents visible at the moment. And it seems as all three talent trees might be viable.

My favorite class. The fact that we get SL SL gave me chills.

I'm gonna be leveling as affli, but After that i wanna try out the demo build that focuses on searing pain and soul Fire, not only does it sound super fun, It also might be the best way to play lock if the status are good enough. I also really wanna try the conflagrate Bane of agony build for 2+ target fights, It sounds so good!

As someone who played warlock back in 06' I just loved seed of corruption and the affliction rotation. So I'll be going orc lock coming back.

@nightsage217 3 hours ago

I see the new demology talent that keeps the sacrificed demon's buff and active demon buff, i can already see demo recycle between shadow and fire buff for shadow bolting and hellfire/immo/soulfire. I love that. I hope they will keep the pets more relevant. GGs.

Started my warcraft journey right after the AQ gates opened in classic vanilla, my first ever toon was a lock, but was swayed to play mage super early "because they leveled faster". Mained that mage from AQ til P2 TBC when i changed servers(long story). Decided to main Warlock after the switch and have never looked back. It's by far the most versatile and resiliant "pure dps" spec.

I am going Affliction Ruin or Demonology Soul Fire I believe. I am loving the changes, feel powerful, also the Revelation Enchant is kinda filthy. If it scales to 60 the way it works now, I’m gonna end up with an aoe staff. It procs on Rain of Fire and you get 2-3 ticks of full crits when it does.
