18:30 This is actually a very old misconception, 'Hungary' and 'Hungarian' does not derive from 'Hun' and instead likely derives from a Turkic word, "Onoğur", meaning "Ten Arrows" or "Ten Tribes". The Onoğurs were a tribal confederation of Turkic peoples and is believed to have eventually morphed into the word the Ungari and then Hungari, from which we get Hungary and Hungarian. The Magyars were not Turkic of course, but living in roughly the same area of the Pontic Caspian steppe and living a very similar way of life they had developed associations and connections with Turkic peoples, particularly the Volga Bulgars and the Khazars (in fact a number of Khazar rebels, called Kabars, joined the Magyars) so they too were called Ungari. After the Magyars had established a Christianized kingdom of their own in the Carpathian Basin it became common in Hungarian historiography to say the Magyars in fact came from the Huns and even sometimes the Scythians, this is also around the time the 'H-' prefix starts to get added to 'Ungari' becoming 'Hungari'. Giving the Magyars Hunnic ancestry gave them more antiquity and thereby legitimacy because of the fame of the Huns, but the Magyars and the Huns were not really connected.

It also caused the near extiction of the Iberian Lynx.

The Caucasus countrys are asian for sure especially when it comes to there culture. above the Caucasusian mountains is eruope with russia but then again eruope is connected to asia so all of these countrys are Eurasian technically.

Interresting point of vieuw : 90% of the European population comes from....the Caucasus !
It's certainly important on a geo-political level for Caucasian countries to be part of Europe !!! So, lucky for them, your opinion doesn't matter. 🧐

Poland - polje, pole (Serbian, Slavic) - the field so it's people of the fields
Russia - from the Rus Vikings, in Serbian Rus means someone with dark blond (light brown) hair.
Ukraine-kraj- province Land but also the end (Serbian) so it's borderland
Belarus - bel (Slavic) whiteRussia. white could mean west or pagan in this context.
Bosnia Bos-bare foot
river you can cross bare foot
Croatia many theories one is that was from personal name
Serbia many theories most likely from Ser (Slavic) cousin
Bulgaria many theories most likely from Turkic bulgha to mix, mix tribe.
Ellada (Greece) from Helen of Troy (those who was against Troy)
Suomi (Finland)
is connected to Sami nice observation
You insist on Kosovo and don't mention other partially recognized territories (typical double standards in the west)
Transnistria- over the Dnister river totaly in Europe.
Abhazia, south Osettia by their people (tribe),
North Cyprus and finaly
Kosovo - kos - in Serbian it means small black bird Kosovo polje - field of black bird (check Poland-polje)
