Hi, I'm going to complete creating highlights of the RLM commentaries but I was curious if there was other content people wanted to see. Like completely different content on a new channel or a new type of stuff for this one. I feel like I have too many ideas to execute on all of them and some focus would be helpful. What do you want to see?

The more I hear about this Michael Myers the less I care for him

Mike's story about his neighborhood Michael Meyers is so cute 😭

"He gets close to her without her running away."

Rich talking from experience.

I can only imagine that Carpenter at first assumed Rob Zombie was a prank name when he received that call.Rob Zombie sounds like that Seymour Butts name at first sight.

As Siskel and Ebert said about the movie, any genre (and any budgeted)  can be made into a compellng and effective movie if in the hands of a great director.

I once asked John Carpenter when Ghosts of Mars 2 is happening, and he basically challenged me to write the script.

I really enjoy the scenes of Michael just casually driving around in a station wagon.

John Carpenter claims that he was really supportive towards Rob Zombie and called him a lying piece of shit for saying he was unenthusiastic about it.

🎃 FUN FACT: About 6-ish years or so ago, my daughter was hired as an intern by Dick Chudnow, co-owner of ComedySportz Worldwide. Her very first task, was to head to our Milwaukee Airport and pick up a dude. This dude's name was(is) Nick Castle. And yep, you guessed it...he played "The Shape", best known as...Michael Myers. Ha! If you would have told me as a kid when this movie came out that my daughter would be driving around Halloween's Michael Myers....i would have giggled into a silly laugh. Peace!

Keeping Loomis out of Haddonefield until the end would have robbed us of that amazing speech he gives to Sheriff Brackett.

the poster art for this movie really is incredible.

Rich, in character, suddenly hit with an unexpected but familiar smell before asking "...can you smell beans ?" will never get old.

I’m curious if people ever dress as Michael dressing as Bob for Halloween. Do they wear just the glasses and sheet or the ENTIRE Myers costume under the glasses and sheet? 🧐

"....do you smell beans?" 😂

My parents allowed me to watch Halloween 1978 when I was somewhere between the age of 4-5. The reasoning, my Mom wanted me to be afraid of real killers instead of ghosts, demons, Freddy/Jason. She always said, monsters don't exist, only people who want to hurt you... Not sure if that was the correct approach to stranger danger, but it worked, and I always respect my Mom for not censoring the films I watched growing up. At my 3rd grade Christmas party at school in 1998, she sent me a Christmas gift- two movies, Disney's Hercules and the original Red Dawn both on VHS. She was the best. With that said, I'm still paranoid in certain situations, for example if I have to take a shit in a public bathroom, I always go to the last bathroom stall, so I know there is only one direction a person can attack me, instead of the risk of a person coming from the left or right. The fact "The Shape" aka Michael was randomly targeting a group of people to kill is still real shit and applies to the modern world of craziness. So stay safe and teach your children to be vigilant.. I know this was a lot of random rambling, but beyond saying Halloween is the best, I also hope I made some kind of point about censorship and keeping your child/children safe. If not, give me a break it's late and I'm enjoying some beers with pizza on the way. Take care and be safe out there.

MM started stalking ever since Laurie dropped that key off. Scary AF when you think about the randomness -wrong place at the wrong time. Had her dad dropped off the keys the day before, Laurie and her friends may not have had such a bad night.

at a buffet, i personally sneak corndogs into the buffet so others can enjoy them. I hide 6 corndogs in my jacket pockets. it then, is a joy for me to see other patrons of the establishment eat my corndogs thinking they were part of the buff

The first time I saw Halloween was in 1980 on Halloween night. I was 14, babysitting the neighbor kids whose parents were at a party. The walk home later that night was, um, tense. Sure, let's go with "tense".

Honestly the Halloween sequels should've just been him killing people in different settings. It could've been an anthology honestly
