That server was top notch, professional and chatty when needed, Ramsey is very lucky to have him.

To be served by Thierry Tomasin guys the restaurant director you hit the jackpot. What an amazing dining experience. It was like watching a Christmas special 😂. Never heard you give a '10' so quickly Gary 😂. Great episode fellas - I'll give it a 10....

When Danny mentions mash and the director said "Did you say mash?" I never expected him to bring out a bowl full of it! Fantastic service, but it's what you would expect in a place like that.

Not a fan of posh places, but the waiter bloke was class.

Having Thierry serve you personally, you lucky people. Probably your best episode so far. Fabulous.

Thierry Tomasin the restaurant director/ maitre d serving Gary and Danny he has featured in documentaries  about the savoy grill

Now that's a man who loves his job, respectfully looks after his clientele and makes sure he is the man. Director or not, he deserves that position, he's a hard working man who's clearly earned that love and respect he receives and gives.

Pleasure serving you!  #oohala

That waiter was incredible, passionate, knowledgeable etc

I love an ordinary guy like the big guy. Who is just himself, doesn't try to be anything else. So endearing.

Incredible wait staff

Fair play to the waiter...great interaction.

He's not just a 'server', he is the great Thierry Tomasin.....of Aubergine, Gavroche and Angelus Restaurants. One of British catering's national treasures! Good company on a Bordeaux road trip too!

I love that there was no snobbery from the waiter.

The gentleman that served you guys , is the Restaurant Director of the Savoy Grill and not a waiter. He is passionate about everything to do with food and wine . I’ve met him a few times at the savoy ( I was in hospitality/seniortravel consultant for 33yrs). The quality of the food was outstanding. Another great vlog , this one was one of your best 😊

The guy that served you both is an absolute artist. He created a symphony and brought you both into it effortlessly.

I recognise the Maitre D', Thierry Tomasin, from the ITV 'Savoy at Christmas' documentary. He was a pleasure on that, and it is great to know that he is just as nice and professional on your random visit! What a lovely meal you chose - tasty and attractive!

You fellas need some fancy suits for places like this, or maybe T-shirts with suits printed on them.

When I trained as a chef in 1992 this was pretty much how we were taught ,the crepes at the table ,flambé ,very old skool ,but good to see it’s still popular, shame so expensive nowadays though!

The Waiter was so wonderfully charming and professional, not to mention how incredible the food looked! Great video, lads!
