The biggest shift feels like it’s not about becoming an “influencer” anymore, but becoming useful to a very specific group of people — consistently.

That is so nice of you to make this video.  My tip is don't get discouraged if your videos don't get views right away.  Sometimes a video will unexpectedly take off and do well several months after it is posted!

"replace your consuming time with creating" ??!!?! I didnt know I need to hear thattt 😭😭

this video has that dangerous “just one more productivity video bro” energy and next thing you know it’s 3am and you’ve redesigned your entire future 😭🔥

yes please to videos about how to get a brand deal, PR lists and when to get a manager! loved this vid, so helpful, thank you 🌻

I just started my YouTube channel I’m so anxious about it 😅 I am not expecting much but I’m happy to make my little vlogs 💞 I wish success to all of us small content creators 🎉😄

ive watched 100 of these types of videos through the years and this is the best one yet <3333 thanks for sharing girl :)

I never thought of becoming an "influencer" but thank you for this perspective!  I am in my 50's with a work from home job that is NOT creative in any way and I am BORED!!!  I used the be a film and theatre kid, back in the day.  I think this could just be a fun hobby to fill that void!  I am working on the "niche" perspective right now.  I have ALWAYS been outgoing and never afraid to put myself out there.....but I am older now, gained weight, SO thank you for the part of not being wrapped up in the "what will people say/think" 🥰. I too would like more videos on the things you mentioned - Signed, a NEW SUBSCRIBER!

Thank you Miki for this video , I am a doctor and have recently started a YouTube channel about health education and healthy lifestyle, 875 subscribers in few months, keep going ❤

I just started posting short forms in Ig, youtube and Tiktok. Im enjoying myself editing and just capturing moments in life for my own sake for now. So far my tribute to my breakup video has done the best 😅

Want to stay on this side of YouTube

A lot of people think becoming an influencer is about posting more. What actually matters is understanding attention and positioning. That only really clicked for me after reading Power Behind The Curtain by Dave Rumsfeld.

She’s really good in making contents😭😭

This is so true! I’ve waited over a decade to make my first YouTube video because I was worried what others would think of me. This video is so helpful. Thank you!

This honestly kind of slaps. I'm probably one of the only people whose parents actually want then to become content creator lol. I have some of the equipment already, but I think this year could be the year I actually try to start content creation.

You mentioning Tax like I AM LITERALLY A TAX ACCOUNTANT

My takeaways from the first time watching this video is to loop the beginning and end of the videos so that the watcher may not realize the video is starting over again.  The second is to try to respond to comments; and if I’m commenting and don’t get replies from the creator then keep trying several more times on other videos that creator makes

single-best breakdown on the internet if imma be honest. it's human, makes sense. Intelligent but not "schemy" like a lot of "grow your followers 'experts'"

I have wanted to be a content creator pretty much my whole life but just had a hard time getting it going all I can say is thank you.❤

I so want 2026 to be my year, I'm going to have to lock in because one month has already gone by 😭
