"I thought she was shy"
SHE THOUGHT SHE WAS SICK.
SHE THOUGHT SHE WAS LOVED.
SHE THOUGHT SHE WAS SAFE .

its the fact that over 10 years, 72 men showed up and NOT ONE showed up and said, “i’m not here to take advantage of your wife, i’m here with the cops”

@asmrsand3972 2 years ago

Honestly i really do believe that the names of those 72 men should be made public too.

The worst part about these cases is no matter how fucked up the crime is, there will always be people justifying and siding with the perpetrator. Absolutely disgusting.

Update for newer viewers: The investigators found 92 separate incidents of rape. It took the police two years to identify 50 of the perpetrators, aged between 21-68.
Dominique was found guilty of all charges and sentenced to 20 years (the maximum sentence) with no possibility of parole before two thirds have been served.
Two were found guilty (not of rape) and sentenced to 3 years.
Two were found guilty of rape with aggravating factors and were sentenced to 5 and 6 years.
The rest of the 50 were found guilty of rape and received sentences ranging between 5-15 years.
UNBELIEVABLE.
Feel free to have a look online if you want to know their names. It is known as 'The Pelicot rape case'

Just developed a new fear:
Being scared of having blank spots in my memory while living with a man.

I don’t understand how people don’t call this trafficking. It fits the description in every way except the traffickers went to her instead of her going to them

The fact that the men who SAed the wife thought they did nothing wrong bc they had the husband’s permission is so sickening.

He didn't mind other men touching her as long as he was in control of the situation but when he finds out another man touched her, of HER OWN WILL, he blew up in anger. Typical.

Im french and you have no idea how much this case has impacted the people living here, she has been a symbol of hope for us french women. Our country has many issues but having a woman like this, this powerful feels good. Thank you for covering this case. Thank you for showing their faces and their names as well as covering this case with respect and depth. (This vid was posted 5months ago but i couldn't bring myself to watch it cause if what i already knew, now that im feeling so much emotion especially as a survivor of SA)

This case shows just how disregarded women are by medical professionals. All the neurological symptoms she was having over the years, the declining quality of life, signs of SA, STDs - and all her doctors, neurologists and gynecologists kept writing it off as stress? If it were one doctor, I would call it individual incompetency, but that many - that's just systemic medical misogyny. They all should be ashamed of themselves.

As a french law major, all our professors told us to follow this case because it is one of the biggest case in french law history just because Gisele not only lived something horrible but said no for the closed hearing, the trial is public and all the process of it even when they played video evidences. She asked for it to be public so that the shame must shift.

Have you noticed that the whole letter he sent from jail was about HIS feelings and HIS pain and how he wanted to be forgiven? when narcissists cry, they cry for themselves. It's all me me me

Every doctor who ignores health complaints or attributes them to weight and hormones without actually doing their damn jobs to investigate and refer specialists should be held criminally liable for medical negligence and endangerment.

@tenwaystowearit 2 years ago

He hated her. Because how could anyone do this to someone they love? Their own child too. He’s a very very sick creature. He should be locked up forever.

@moniqueanderson7127 2 years ago

Thank you for revealing her husband’s face. So many news outlets blurred his face and the face of his co-defendants. They need to be publicly named and shamed. May she get the justice she deserves.

@reeree9 1 year ago

Every single one of those men need to be charged also. They went on that forum knowing exactly what it was about. Why did they think the husband had all those rules.
