Materials
For this Christmas tree, I use 2–2.5 mm macramé cord.
All cord measurements below are calculated specifically for this cord thickness.
For 2–2.5 mm cord:
2 pieces — 100 cm (39.4 in)
2 pieces — 90 cm (35.4 in)
2 pieces — 75 cm (29.5 in)
2 pieces — 65 cm (25.6 in)
2 pieces — 45 cm (17.7 in)
If you use a thicker cord, you will need to cut longer pieces.
*For 4 mm cord:*
2 pieces — 140 cm (55.1 in)
2 pieces — 120 cm (47.2 in)
2 pieces — 100 cm (39.4 in)
2 pieces — 80 cm (31.5 in)
2 pieces — 50 cm (19.7 in)
Additional materials:
1 piece of cord — 30 cm (11.8 in) for the hanging loop at the top
4 acryilic beabs, 10 mm in diameter
*(For 4 mm cord, use larger beads.)
1 wooden star or 1 wooden ring, approximately 2–3 cm (0.8–1.2 in) in diameter, for the top
1 piece of cord — approximately 40 cm (15.7 in) for wrapping the cord ends at the bottom of the tree
A measuring tape
Macramé pins
A macramé board
