Learn how to make this small macramé flower 🌸 In this tutorial, I show you how to make one petal and then assemble all five petals into a complete flower.

The flower can be used for wall hangings, home decor, wreaths, or other macramé projects.

MATERIALS

• 2.5 mm macramé cord
• 10–12 mm wooden bead
• Macramé board
• Scissors
• Measuring tape

CORD LENGTHS

For one petal:
• 6 pieces of cord — 80 cm (31.5 in) each

For the complete flower (5 petals):
• 30 pieces of cord — 80 cm (31.5 in) each

For the stamens:
• 6–8 pieces of cord — 12 cm (4.7 in) each
• 1 piece of cord — 25 cm (9.8 in) to tie the stamens together

For flower assembly:
• 1 piece of cord — 25 cm (9.8 in) to attach the wooden bead
• 1 piece of cord — 50 cm (19.7 in) to join all five petals

The number of stamens is optional — you can use 6–8 pieces or add more for a fuller center.

The wooden bead is also optional. You can leave the flower with just the stamens if you prefer.
