I owe this video, like all else I do, to the gentle and constant support of my partner. Thank you, Elly!

This talk is very precious for me. I have watched quite a few videos of Francis's teaching but this is the first time I think I could properly understand the message he repeatedly tried to convey to everyone. He didn't try to convince anyone anything but only invited everyone to allow for the possibilty of nondual viewpoints and the inseparateness of conciousness, and then to live one's life in accordance with that possibility and observe the result in one's life. His answer to an 11-year-old boy is also lovely and very invaluable. Thank you Simeon for your excellent questions and thank you Francis for your compassionate and untiring efforts in answering.

1:16:40 This advertising is really important. This is a main approach in Buddhist purification. Very important.
When is there, it’s too late.

Love you Francis ,and thank you Simeon..you're a great host.💜

Thank you 💕💕💕

31.34 : FL they are making an implicit statement which is a belief system ,They implicitly make the statement that the brain or the nervous system creates consciousness.
At that moment they cease to be scientists.
Wow! so well said!

Thank you Francis 🙏 I like the way you explained to the 11year old boy ❤

This was one of the best talks, Simeon, thank you! Not in terms of "enjoyment" (for me) - less of a "wow" reaction than with some other videos, but this one's very useful in terms of how much insight/deeper understanding (or rather seeing) this has caused for me.

The entirity of life is like you're swimming in an ocean, and you try to find things to stay afloat, or maybe you're having fun swimming (or suffering from drowning), but there are lifeguards (Buddha, Jesus, Sri Ramakrishna, etc.) who tell you "Hey! You can just stand up, because the sand is right beneath your feet across this entire ocean"

This is why we all already have what we need, and it doesn't matter what message eventually causes us to get it and to start trying to stand up where we are in this metaphorical ocean

The point is to do the practices until you can feel the sand that's under the whole ocean

Then you realise that EVERY living creature is ultimately safe, and one day or another, we'll all come to realise that the sand was under our feet the whole time

Multumesc.

It’s crazy to see you both on the same screen, you are my only two sources of spiritual blather. Oh, there’s a third. Samaneri. Now that would be freaky.

Teachers appear because there are "students" who are genuinely seeking to understand this experience we call "life", especially the aspects that feel like "suffering". We turn to those who provide explanations and "answers" that resonate and show a way beyond the suffering. It is inherent in the true perfection of True Reality. Thank you Francis, for being one of my teachers.

What a wonderful conversation--thank you Simeon and Francis. I hope you won't mind if I add the following quote by Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj, from "I Am That:"
"We do not wake up into a treally waking state. In the waking state the world emerges due to ignorance and takes one into a waking-dream state. Both sleep and waking are misnomers. We are only dreaming. True waking and true sleeping only the gnani knows. We dream that we are awake, we dream that we are asleep. The three states are only varieties of the dream state. Treating everything as a dream liberates. As long as you give reality to dreams, you are their slave. By imagining that you are born as so-and-so, you become a slave to the so-and-so."
Kind regards, Art

Wow, bro's got stubble up to his cheekbones.

Thanks a lot, you have asked the same doubts I had, for eg is formal meditation necessary, how long to meditate in this busy schedules and many more. I am  watching this video from india. Age 50 years🙏🙏

HOW do I get OUTTA HERE??????????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If your consciousness is non-dual , how would you experience it ? How would you know it ? In order to experience something a separation is needed. Non- dual means the subject and the   object are no longer separate. There is no experiencer. If there is no experiencer how is it possible to know you're experiencing non-diality ? It's easy for these youtube gurus to talk about it. But not one of them has or can experience it.

"The Tao that can be named, is not the Tao". What is in form, with a name, is not Reality.

Who wants immortality???
Even buddha spoke that these are beliefs and  extremes

Buddha explicitly said that non-duality ("The cosmos and the self are one and the same.") is wrong view in MN22.
