I owe this video, like all else I do, to the gentle and constant support of my partner. Thank you, Elly!

Prior to this I’ve never heard of your channel or of your guest. Your interview just popped up on my feed, and I’m so glad it did.

Henry is a very powerful Zen master. I repeatedly noticed myself drifting into a meditative state throughout the interview. I believe it was due to his channel.

Simeon, I can’t believe this is your first podcast. Your thoughtful reflections and intuitive questions created a beautifully supportive flow for your guest and audience. I’m really looking forward to more interviews from this channel. 🙏

“It is through imperfection and humility and outright failure that we become free to simply be.”

Beautifully said, Simeon. Thank you so much for your courage and hard work to conduct this interview. And thank you Henry for sharing your wisdom. This was an incredibly insightful conversation. So grateful for you and your work 🙏🏻🩵

Always love to hear Henry speaking but this is my first time seeing/hearing Simeon. Beautiful person and I'm very eager to hear more from him.

To my eyes you are the best teacher and student description perfect question and spontaneous answers. I love you guys. Stay blessed

Simeon  I watched your interview with Henry . I am a retired psychologist in Oregon, usa. I would like to see you interview Loch Kelly. I have been doing his effortless mindfulness programs for the last year. Henry and Loch are good mates. Effortless mindfulness is a direct access of awareness leading to awakening. His process also involves internal family systems which is the healing portion of awakening that Henry talks about. Henry also uses IFS in his work. After 40 years of practice using E.M.D.R. and IFS I decided to look into awakening. I’d be happy to talk further with you.

I've listened to a few of your interviews the past few days ❤well done sir! Blessings

Thank you so much for this series! And for this opportunity! Wow

When the heart breaks, it breaks open.

For months I thought this was a well done AI and I was fascinated by your accent.  I’m delighted to know you’re a real person.   Thanks for this.

I appreciate the guest facial appearance: so peaceful so content

Love this podcast and this teacher. Maybe the best podcast on meditation and the best teacher I have ever listened to. And I have listened to a LOT. Thanks for introducing him to us.

You're a natural, Simeon.

8:34 ‘ It was only when I began to meditate that I began to acknowledge my own mental health issues. ‘

What a wise young interviewer ❤

Thank you Master Shukman. "i was so much older then, I'm younger than that now" Bob Dylan

To the broken hearted. ❤

I am so deeply grateful for this discussion 💜

What a master of compassion.  That close, asking what else would make the conversation all he wanted it to be, was priceless teaching in compassion.   མོས་གུས

Thanks for this interesting conversation and also the explanation of the Koans and their Purpose.
It totally makes sense , that the point to a deeper level of non - polarity and the NOW, which on the intellectual level appears as contradiction and paradox.
But for me also contexitulisation came to mind, which in the arising of Buddhism probably was no conventional aspect to be aware of, but ( as you mentioned Integral) of course now is also explicitly present and was a very innovative move of Buddhism then.
In the example of the Koan about the question to the butcher....which ist the best piece of meat, with his answer, every piece is the best piece, this may be interpreted, the one which is present right here right now, but also integrating and transcending or "sub-cending " or including is the context dependence of , what is the best.
A dog I know, finds the saws stomach ( with content !!!) the best piece, while some humans might not share this preference.
So this all encompassing leel, that can be felt, being confronted with a Koan bears implicit wisdom and knowing of the many views on reality, which can be equally "true" depending on context and observer.
At least for me.
