And also the reason kylo crystal cracked was cus of his conflicted nature. He was still feeling the pull to the light so while pouring his darkside into the crystal the pull of the light messed with the bleeding causing his crystal to crack in the process

My favorite thing to come out of the Acolyte was exposing all the Star Wars fans who THINK they're super knowledgeable on the lore, only to prove through their complaints they're very much not.

One you missed is the claim that Jedi aren’t allowed to encounter the Rule of Two Sith before the Phantom Menace. This isn’t true, there’s just additional parameters where one of three things has to happen:

1. The Jedi can’t recognise the Sith as being a Sith.

2. If the Jedi does manage to identify the Sith as a Sith then they can’t make it back to the Council and alert them, which usually means they die before they can.

3. If they do manage to alert the Council then the Council can’t believe them and the Council has to believe that that Jedi is wrong.

Even as a mega star wars nerd who hated the acolyte it is so painfully obvious if you know anything about star wars that it doesn't break canon and people who think it does are either trying to manufacture hate or have no clue what they're talking about

6:20 somewhat related argument, i want to add that mindset is likely important. When Osha bled the crystal, she wasn't exactly having second guesses about her decision, meanwhile the entire time Anakin's judgements were clouded.
