Remember guys...Boost drivers are powerful actions that activate boost. While boosted, certain actions are temporarily enhanced. Seize control of the hunt with the boost bracer!

"There's no way you're gonna make Lance interesting."

8 seconds later:

"Hmm. Interesting."

As a 40 hours a day lance main, I will remember that slander, Max.

sees gunlance attach itself to monster like a damn switchaxe

"That's Normal Shit"

Max didn't notice elemental shells on the gunlance. That is huge!

1:27 no Max, the boosted state it's more like an install, you can activate it with a Boost Driver and while you're boosted, you gain access to new moves and combo routes. It's a timed buff.

im going to learn Hunting Horn just because of that punch, that's the best move i saw from all the weapons.

I'm not sure where he got it from but the Ascendance director wasn't the MHGU director, he was however the game designer of Generations then lead planning in GU. Which is why the boost driver has similar vibes to hunter arts.

lol max in the side by side comparison clips, the left is “before”, as in what you can currently to do in wilds, and the right is the after.

Gunlance: elemantal shelling and attaching onto the monster

Max: "Thats normal"

Us switch axe mains finally have Soaring Wyvern Blade back. We’re eating good

Lance has always been a weapon that says "defense is the best offense" and uses that defense to keep up the pressure.  Im really glad they're giving it more options to cash in on the openings it creates

As a hammer main i really enjoyed wilds and am super excited for ascension. Can't wait!

Bowguns looking like the new glaive combat standards.

4:50 sings Vergils theme as the Hunter us using Nero’s Rev Engine technique

4:48- Even Max wants to see that DMC collab happen.

I've been WAITING for this one!!

been waiting for this video

I like how max says about the new stuff are basic old combos, and says about the old stuff "woah cool new stuff!"
I mean its normal for someone who didn't really play the 9 stars onwards solo so he didn't have to learn the combat because honestly pre TU1.5 everything was so ez u could brute force it, 1.5 added 8 stars which is nice but the 9 stars are what really had people learning their weapons and the 10 stars where a final test

You didnt notice the gunlance literally took moves from other weapons. Gunlance had an Arial shelling uppercut into a soaring wyvern blade style mid air attack. And its wyvern fire allowed you to attach to the monster
