Im glad you pointed out DK's orange fur is just a visual indicator of bananergy and not the actual fur colour

3:08 I DID NOT REALISE THAT!!!! THAT IS SUCH A COOL DETAIL!!!!

Note: it also does it for every other fur colour

You forgot to mention that the Bananza forms are inspired by old buddy animals: Ostrich is Expresso from DKC1, Elephant is Ellie from DKC3, and Snake is Rattly from DKC2. Their signature abilities are the same, too.

11:08 I’m surprised that no one seems to notice but not only K. Rool uses his Propellerpack from Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong’s Double Trouble but you can see part of it resembles KAOS, the secondary villain of the same game.

13:30 this actually happens after you fund grumpy's last ingot isle project, not 100%-ing the game.

New donk city is on the other side of the planet, so you couldn't see it from the ingot isle...

I beat it, but never noticed about the fact that it was the same concept

7:23 As Ganon once said, stickerbush symphony, stickerbrush is wrong

2:30: That, and fans think Cranky is Game Boy DK, but that’s not the case either. Like the Super Mario Bros. Movie by illumination being released prior to Bananza, Miyamoto’s design of DK, that he proposed to Rare, had an early debut a few months prior to Donkey Kong Country, in a Game Boy game that was also the predecessor of Mario vs. Donkey Kong.
While it’s likely Cranky would be the Arcade DK in the new context by Rare, he wouldn’t be Game Boy DK in the context of having a bias that’s hyper-fixated on games from before the Video Game Crash of 1983; Cranky would likely denounce the Game Boy game being considered a 100% pure arcade port, because 90% of the Game Boy Game was new content.
9:21: Given what I said earlier, this could also mean that DK Jr. is not Cranky’s son, nor is he DK himself. In Game Boy DK, Junior joins DK at the Jungle world, and aids his Papa in stopping Mario. Considering the original Arcade game had no in-game mentions of the Lady and Carpenter, Donkey Kong Jr. for the Arcade could be recontextualized as a sequel to Game Boy Donkey Kong, as both the DKJR Arcade Game and Game Boy game mentioned Mario by name. Not to mention, in Mario Tennis for the N64, DK Jr. is present alongside Rare’s DK, with no convoluted mention of DK Jr. being a de-aged Modern DK.

The Pauline dance is also in the Pauline win animation in Mario party jamboree

This vídeo made me love dk bananza even more.

0:50 :.... No that's wrong. The interview from where this information come from SPECIFICALLY mentioned the cooking level with the hammer bro destroying part of the environment AND the snow. It uses the same voxel technology that would eventually become DK Bananza.

So MAYBE Bowser destructions was the same but the devs didn't say so, and the video only showed Bowser destroying an entire object at the time, which is way easier so it didn't help convince me.
I mean, if it starts like this, i'm not confident for the rests of the  "facts".

The old classic music from the original Donkey Kong game, I can't believe I missed that in the song!

2:04 I would love a remake of banjo one and two for the switch❤❤

Void Kong escaped to dk island in the dk island+emerald rush dlc

Donkey Kong Country 3's level Konveyor Rope Klash has several rocks scattered throughout in the background that look just like Fractones.
It's the only level in the game with them.

You are one of the few channels I can't watch at night because of the HDR. It would blind me and keep me awake at night

Bro forgot to mention that the orange is another reference to the 1981 Donkey Kong game.

If not already mentioned, the 2 small barrels connected to Rambi at 5:06 resemble those used in DK Jungle Beat

I 100% completed Donkey Kong bananas today
