One of the things I noticed about pastor Josh when I first started attending Lakepointe, is how much he loves the Bible. It inspired me to want to know more. The podcast helps with how much the guys nerd out.

I found Pastor Josh about a year ago. I’m 70. I blew my life until I was 55. I feel so blessed to know that, even though I started out HORRIBLY, thanks to GOD, Josh, Allen Jackson, Skip Heitzig, Mark Driscoll & Jack Hibbs, I’m going to finish well. Thank you gentlemen!! GOD bless you all!!!!

Pastor Josh—as a woman (whose age starts with a 6 and attends Lakepointe), please preach a sermon series on Acting Like Women.

After growing up in church and never truly having a relationship with Christ I recently celebrated a year of giving my life to Christ and following him.
I read my word daily, and fast regularly to seek deeper intimacy with the Lord.
One of the people God used to lead me back to him was Candace Owens.

56:43 - this is exactly it right! For leadership to inspire others they must set the example and talk about the word with just as much excitement as the World Cup (as an example) when that fire is not in the leader it can’t spread.
The more I read the more I want to read and the more I want to talk to others about what I’ve read and how it changes my perspectives and what the Lord reveals through his Word. It’s full of mysteries, wonder and places me in such awe of the Lord.

This was an interesting watch! ❤

I agree at what he’s saying about women discipleship. I’m always in search of women’s conferences and church groups that study Gods word and that teaches women in full truth how to disciple others. It’s vital I truly believe women and young girls would perceive things much differently.

Ask questions- discernment and wisdom come from the Lord. He reveals truth. TRUST THE LORD NOT MAN. Our focus must be on Him!
I can’t begin to list the many things we have come to question as we learn that our governments has fed us a wrong narrative, not truth - JFK, anthrax, 911, Iraq War, Covid, Vegas shooting, Butler and……
But now we should disregard our own eyes, ears and common sense. Nope! Pray for the truth to be revealed, dig into his word and don’t stop asking questions. Don’t rely on others- Rely on the Lord!

I made my kids keep pray journals when they were young. I had them write a proverb and a prayer each day. They are all strong believers today. And yes! This is the first generation to value youth over elders.

Pastor Josh is ABSOLUTELY RIGHT. I've watched that Godly Women sermon of his multiple times AND sent it to many of my friends. I'm a woman of God who is madly in love with Jesus and His Word, and there are NOT ENOUGH sermons towards women, so here I am watching every single sermon on "Stand Firm / Act Like Men" on every platform I can. I know what God is asking of men, I pray I meet one that embodies all that, but as a single mom and business owner and all the "manly" things on my plate, all I have to look at is Song of Solomon (doesn't really apply to the singles) and Proverbs 31 (already embodying all that) and everything on this platform pointed towards women is soft and sweet and annoying, and mostly telling us how to be a wife. I'm a warrior for Christ, as well as one day hopefully a godly wife, can we get more on how women further the Kingdom of God??? Not just how to be good Godly wives? I get more out of podcasts and sermons that are discipling MEN than anything meant to disciple women. THANK YOU.

"I learned during COVID. I learned when they told us that it came from a bat in the Himalayas. I learned when they told us the vaccine was safe and effective. I learned when they told us that ivermectin was horse paste, that you better keep asking questions, because it's the only thing that keeps us free." - Charlie Kirk

Just a note...Hebrews 5:14 talks about " solid food being for the mature, who have their powers of discernment TRAINED by CONSTANT practice." Its TRAINED and not just a high pie in the sky gift.

Jesus repeatedly treated women as people worthy of hearing, learning, speaking, serving, and participating in the work of God, often in ways that stood out in His cultural setting. Your series will have so much value. Bring it! 🙌

Candace IS a truth teller! I don't get why intelligent people won't acknowledge an investigation has dead ends. Also I get the political thing but I don't ever want my pastor to visit a president, unless its to baptism him.

Josh, one of the reasons I love listening to you is that you seem happy and full of joy as you teach. I love that. Some preachers seem like they are just going through the steps and they have no real joy in the world and that makes listening to them hard. I'm trying to be more like Jesus, and really more like you, by being a overall happier person with joy. It's a growing evolving thing for me as I have never been very happy in life.

Whoa. This is crazy. Nathan Apffel is right on with his discernment. I was a member if second Baptist in Houston and the shady stuff Ben Young and brothers pulled us soooo wrong. I’m so thankful for Nathan and his involvement. The church needs to be reformed BIG time.
