God Wants You To Pour Yourself OUT | Pastor Josh Howerton

Lakepointe Church

Someone is learning how to follow Jesus by watching you. The question is what they'll learn from how you finish.
In 2 Timothy 4, Paul knows his time is almost up, and he uses his last letter to show Timothy how a Christian finishes. His final charge: preach the Word in season and out of season, don't chase teachers who tell you what you want to hear, fulfill your ministry, and keep the faith to the end.
Pastor Josh Howerton walks through Paul's last words and the good news underneath them. It doesn't matter how you start. It matters how you finish.

My husband and I attended your church today in Dallas, Pastor, and for us.. this past month, has not been the best... arguments, fights.. just horrible things. I sent my husband one of your sermons yesterday and he could NOT stop watching your videos, saying that everything you were talking about, was resignating with him!! This morning, he got baptized!!! Praise God for that! What you preached today spoke to him in a way that I have never seen ANY preacher speak to him, and I just want you to know, that I am thankful to you for that, sir! We will most definitely be back next Sunday!! I think we have found our new church home!!! Thank God for you, Pastor!! ❤❤

I am not sure how long I have been watching Pastor Josh. I always thought that I would be baptized in one of the Lakepointe or Eleven22 mass baptisms. I was afraid of finding a local church that would taint the word. Well Praise God roughly 5 weeks ago my brother invited me to a church he had attended once a week prior! I have been attending every Sunday since and then come home and still catch Pastor Josh's message. I was spontaneously baptized today in my church along with my daughter and my little brother!!! Then to come home to see my favorite Pastor giving a very similar message tells me I am right where God wants me to be! Praise God!

I’m an addict and alcoholic and when I was listening to this live Sunday. I was at work driving my truck and when I heard “be sober minded, endure suffering” I went to the office and took two weeks off work and I’m ready to endure the suffering and get clean so God can use me for his will. I got so many people in the live chat praying for me. I’m ready to fulfill MY MINISTRY! Andrew Burton will make a difference here in BOWLING GREEN KENTUCKY! PRAISE GOD! Thank you all for the prayers and support I won’t let you down!!!

Please continue praying for my marriage which is hanging by a thread and not how God commands. She is a non-believer. Thank you!

How is it that you have preached directly to me on the other side of the world. Thanks Josh!

We enjoyed the sermon today and stayed online to watch all of the baptisms. Our little children were glued to the tv dancing around and praising the Lord as we watched everyone being baptized! 🙌

This Ol Kentucky girl landed in Jacksonville Florida and I am on mission at the Church of 11-22. Just one more. And I adore watching you and listening to a dive into the Word! Keep fighting the good fight Pastor Howerton. You are always welcome in Jacksonville. Amen!

You are not like those other Pastors because you are not them, you are you and exactly who we need you to be. That's why we are here. We love you the way you are Pastor Josh 😊 I've never really watched one person so consistently and learned so much about our LORD until I came here. Don't ever change.

I can't believe people ask for your sermon to be shorter. I could listen all day. Since I've been listening I now get on my knees every morning and spend my morning talking to my Lord, I read a chapter of the word sometimes two. My walk and relationship with Jesus get better and closer everyday. Thank God for your sermons ❤🙏🙏🙏

You can tell how godly and faithful Josh Howerton must be in the Lord based on how much faith he has in the cowboys

I watched that podcast with Pastor PAM, Amazing! What a Blessing to listen to you two. I had seen Pastor PAM once but honestly I didn't know much of anything about him. Now, I will listen to him as I do you Paster Josh. I am blessed to have your sermons at Lakepointe and I dearly love the Live Free podcast, I learn so much, and it makes me hungry to learn more. I get so inspired by your excitement, your heartfelt moments, the brotherhood between you and pastors Paul and Carlos. The knowledge you all help us learn as well. I ordered the Eden book. I don't think I'm ready for Paul's stack just yet. I just want to Thank you and tell you that you are perfectly created by our Lord and Savior. Your preaching, discipleship is reaching Everyone God intended. Amen✝️🕊🙏

Ive sincerely passed the phase of itching ears. I want teacher or preacher to give me truth that make me feel convicted so i can correct myself. Praise God for sound doctrine and good shepards.

I wish these sermons were LONGER!

Everytime I hear things on the podcast Pastor Josh had to cut out of his sermons for time, I get bummed out about it. So much good information we all need to hear.

I am so grateful to God for leading me to this church, bless it for being accurate to His word!
